54 Brinkley, Jasper, ILB, 6-1, 252, 27, 5, South Carolina. Had a productive year last season at MLB for the Vikings. Strong and sturdy. Downhill tackler. Has potential to play SOLB if D-Wash returns and Minter excels. Cover skills will be tested. May have pass rush ability.

13 Brown, Jaron, WR, 6-2, 205, 23, R, Clemson. Good size and speed. Was part of a very talented WR unit at Clemson---may have been overlooked somewhat. Can be physical as blocker. Teammate of RB Andre Ellington and the Tigers' high-powered offense.

85 Buckner, Dan, WR, 6-4, 215, 22, R, Arizona. Transfer from Texas. Big, physical, reliable WR. Plays tough. Good blocker. Comes up with big plays. Lacks top-end speed, which is likely why he wasn't drafted. Has Anquan Boldin type qualities.

60 Caprioglio, Joe, T, 6-6, 315, 23, R, Colorado St. Versatile T/G prospect who was just starting to emerge as a strong player when he suffered an ACL injury in 2011. Came back this past season and played well.

20 Cason, Antoine, CB, 6-1, 195, 26, 6, Arizona. One of the top free agent signings---rated as the #1 UFA CB by ESPN. Big, strong capable CB who brings experience and strength to the Cardinals' secondary. Tends to play off a little too often---will be asked to be more aggressive in the Cardinals' schemes and will be asked to work inside in the slot and outside on the perimeter.

Summary:
Versatility has been a common theme for the Cardinals with regard to the new players they have acquired. Brinkley will start at SILB and could slide over to SOLB if Kevin Minter shines. WRs Jaron Brown and Dan Buckner can play inside and outside. Both have upside and have legitimate chances to make the 53 man roster. Caprioglio will probably play RT at first but may be switched to guard---and has a chance to make the PS. Cason can be used in a variety of different ways---outside on the perimeter, inside on the slot and may be asked to cover TEs from time to time.
