If this was here I missed it, KFFL is reporting that a half dozen NFL teams including the Chiefs, Cowboys, Packers, Vikings, Eagles and more are interested in working out pro wrestler Brock Lesner as a DE! Apparently he prefers to be a Viking.

NO idea what his past history is, many pro wrestlers are ex football players but they usually become wrestlers because they weren't good enough for the NFL, Lesner would be the first I can think of to go from wrestling to the NFL if he made it.

As a wrestling fan I know he played football in HS and went to college in Minnesota and became the NCAA heavyweight champion. But he did say his dream is to play in the NFL. Big guy (6'5 300 pound) quick, agile and very strong. The thing with Brock is can he put his great athletic ability together and how fast can he learn to play DE?

if he is that fast, just make him a fullback, 300 pounds of raging muscle flyin at ya, that would make me step aside, he could be like kliencsauser of the vikings, sorry i butchered his name, but lean and mean, and faster if im not mistaken

Well a good DE is usually much more valuable than a Fullback so if he can play both definitely put him at DE.

If he was 25 I would take a look at him becuase he has the great athletic ability and good use of hands since he was NCAA heavyweight champion. Good hands is what you need as a dlinemen. At 25 he still has some years to give up and develop for a few years but he is 28, there just isnt any time for him to develop for 2 years then be succesfull.
