Mayby it will pull some of you together so you'll quit all the fueding and get back to what this board does best. I feel like this board has the most football smart posters on the web, but sometimes it turns into a pissing match....

So quit the pissin and moanin and lets get back to business.

I went on over and told them off. I was pretty justified in everything I said, but how much do you want to bet they just rip on me for it? Ah, the senseless fools. ;)

What a trashy board that is. The color scheme is enough to require a strong dose of compazine.

If we allowed the size here I'm sure I could come up with something a little more tasteful than Brittney taking here top off. Grated it is hot to see her undressing, but how serious do you take an argument from that guy?

This post wasn't an attempt to start a fight between the two boards, just to let you guys know that all this infighting is making us look bad. Suck it up. Lets get this thing going and get some good karma for the pack game

Sorry. Lost computer for quite a while due to the hurricane.

Yeah, basically. The guys over there just jumped on me saying I was too sensitive. Basically bitterness over when they got kicked for being down after losing the SBs.

Oh well. They figure if they get abused it's okay for them to abuse others. Sadly, I found a large lack of class over there. Someone even called me a female genitalia name I will not repeat. Overall, the quality of posters there seemed to be lacking.

Yeah, I know. That was kind of harsh. Still, I wasn't saying anything that isn't probably true, and I wasn't trying to rub it in. Just a statement, not a 'ha ha' thing.

Hey Taco...why so meek here and so demeaning on your own message board? Feel like you have enough support to 'talk trash' over there? Sounds a bit like a double-standard to me, bud.

Because whenever I start over here, my threads get moved to the "bird droppings" forum. Apparently, you guys are far too tender for anything that is considered "smack," whether it's actually smack or not.

And what do you mean meek? I merely asked a question here. I was interested in your answer. You had thin skin when you came over the first time, and what do you know, minister of silly, you have thin skin now.

I said it... You guys are gluttons for punishment... As I said over here, you support and commit yourself to a franchise that doesn't give you that same level of support and committment. That's the definition of glutton for punishment if you ask me... I mean... How sad is it that you guys dumped Jake Plummer only to get excited for Jeff Blake?

You don't like me calling Cards fans "gluttons for punishment" on my own home turf... You think I'm afraid of doing it here? I guess I'll take that as an invitation. I'm more than comfortable mixing it up with you guys... You'd know that, if your skin was thick enough to make it into the "smack" forum. God forbid you have to endure people telling you the truth about your organization, which hasn't registered double digit wins since Disco was cool. And as I said over here, being a Cardinals fan, I'd think that you'd have thicker skins than this. But I know that you're not a good representative of your fans... I know that there are guys that can actually mix it up... put down the whine and cheese, and actually mix it up a little... I've seen Cards fans roll with the punches, and suprisingly for Cardinals fans, dish it back out...

Apparently, you aren't one of them.

Now go back to your crackers before the Merlot turns bitter.

Wow, not only are you pathetic, but you're stupid to boot (or just plain lazy...I'll let you go with whatever makes you feel more special).

Let's see...you said:

'And what do you mean meek? I merely asked a question here. I was interested in your answer. You had thin skin when you came over the first time, and what do you know, minister of silly, you have thin skin now.'

Hmm...I'd say you weren't interested in my opinion when you asked that 'mere question', but were trolling for an inflammatory response. But, since that's speculation, I'll just stick to the fact that here, you obviously can't read. If you did, you'd see I have in my profile Minister of Silly WALKS. How very observant of you.

You said:

'You support and commit yourself to a franchise that doesn't give you that same level of support and committment. That's the definition of glutton for punishment if you ask me...'

To which I responded, rather succinctly, over on your board:

'Glutton for punishment' is plain and simply incorrect. 'True fan', as opposed to 'fair weather fan' is the truth. You see, what you fail to understand is, we are not fans of the ownership or the management. We are not fans of how they run business. We're fans of the team. The guys that run out onto the field, good or bad, and give it their all. That's what we're fans of. Do we have to put up with losing? Uh, gee, yeah. Does that make us a glutton for punishment? Do you think any of us enjoys it? That's what a glutton would be. No, of course we don't. We endure it because we're fans. I guess you don't know the true meaning of the word, though. It would explain a lot.

I think, and others would more than likely agree, that mine is the more compelling argument. Ah well, onward and upward.

You said:

'How sad is it that you guys dumped Jake Plummer only to get excited for Jeff Blake?'

I don't feel it necessary to deem this with a response, because though I could expound on Plummer's inadequacies as a QB, I've been over that ground a million times and do not wish to have to rehash it all. Carrying on...

You said:

'God forbid you have to endure people telling you the truth about your organization, which hasn't registered double digit wins since Disco was cool.'

I can generally agree with the ineptitude of this organization. I'm not, nor have I ever, defended it very much. Still, I have to give credit where credit is due. Check your W-L total for 1998, me boyo. You'll see 10 in that win column, as we beat the Cowgirls in the playoffs, in Dallas, no less. Now, unless I'm much mistaken, Disco wasn't really in vogue in the late 1990s. You tried very hard to sound clever. Too bad the facts were wrong. *thumb snap*

So you see, Taco, you're feeble banter is little more than base verse drivel to me, and it bounces off my verbal armor like a high-bounce ball off concrete (I love mixing the classics with modern
metaphors).

Oh, and this? 'Now go back to your crackers before the Merlot turns bitter.'?

I think I need only say you may now feel free to crawl back under the rock from whence you emerged, curl into the fetal position and commence sucking your thumb. No Merlot necessary.

Now, did you say I can't talk smack? Oh, but I can and, unlike others, I can back it up. Don't f- with a Jedi Master, son. Lol

I'm not going to bother too much, because it's not worth my time... Your Cards homers are going to pat you on the back, and I'll just be the mean monster...

But I will say this... Look at this page... You can try and move a playoff win into the regular season win column, but it will only be in your head... You'll see on this page how your seasons have been recorded, and I don't see many double digits in the win column, oh Jedi Master with verbal armor... It's a good thing youve got that verbal armor on now, because it sure beats that thin skin you've got underneath it.

It was amusing spinning your wheels... But I need someone with game to keep me entertained for very long... Guys like Section 11 have got game. You, I'm not afraid to say, dont.

Lol You amuse me, Gordita. Seriously, this is fun. Because, if I'm not mistaken, and I'm not, you didn't say 10 win regular seasons. And, if I'm not mistaken, and I'm not, we won 10 games total in 1998. I would gladly have admitted we had no 10 win regular seasons in recent memory, but that wasn't what YOUR incorrect statement was, so I didn't have to. Of course, would you ever admit that you were wrong? No. The Pope will convert to Judaism first.

And I find it ironic that you mock my use of the phrase 'verbal armor' when you can't even spell 'don't' correctly. At least if you're going to come, come strong, man. Seriously.

To say that I'M spinning MY wheels when you can't even properly quote what you said is beyond funny. Do you know why? Because I sat here as I responded before KNOWING you were going to do just that. Lo and behold, you didn't prove me wrong. Good job on a bad quote, ace

Any more smack? I seriously doubt it. That you'll have any true smack, that is.

If you know that you don't have double digits in the win column, then why did you try to pass it off as though you did? That doesn't make sense...

This little tit-for-tat thing isn't going anywhere... So I'll end it on my end with this post... But let's not pretend that you can demosntrate any sort of official stats that will say you've had double digits in the win column in any recent history. Playoff wins don't count toward the win column and we both know it.

And you don't have any game... And the people with any game here know it.

No...I KNOW we had double digit wins that year...playoff wins don't count as wins? What a ludicrous notion.

What I KNEW you were going to come back with was the 'regular season' baloney. I KNEW you were going to try to use that to back out of what you said before, because you NEVER said, in your original post, that we haven't had a double-digit REGULAR season in recent memory. You added that little factoid in AFTERWARD, in later posts. Too late, btw.

Hem and haw all you want. We won 10 games in 1998. Deal with it. You were wrong and I was right. If you were a man, or even a reasonable humanoid, you could admit that. But you can't. You'll continue to grasp at the 'regular season' straws. Ten wins is ten wins to a FAN. I thought that's what we were, Taco? No, wait, you're a troll, here at least. You're here to stir the pot, NOT to offer something positive to the board. Ah well. Such is life. You find 'em everywhere. Hasta.
