Watching Chris Johnson run vs. scrubs ...to see if he has anything left. If he doesn't do decent...he's as good as gone come Saturday.

Watching Weatherspoon at ILB. - He will make the team regardless...but I want to see his speed, instincts and tackling.

The rest - could care less about.

Kind of hope Butler gets a kick or two blocked so they know he's way too slow and move on.

Watching the first UA game at a college buddy's house tomorrow night and then skimming through the Cards game on DVR later. Other than checking out Johnson, Spoon, and Watford and keeping an eye on if anyone really flashes/jumps out - not sure there's much else to really focus on.

It's all Sims vs Thomas for the 3rd QB slot for me (and Watford taking Sowell's place at RT)

That is why I will be watching this game. The QBs, Johnson and Weatherspoon.

This seems like the ultimate preseason story to me. If either play this year, it will be the wrong choice either way (e.g. we won't have success either way), and if either player was truly the future QB it wouldn't be much of a competition at this point.

Ditto! Also, bits and pieces of college games that are scheduled around the same time. MY DVR will get a workout this week with all the college and pro games scheduled.

If you just watch the first quarter, you will not know:
1. Who is the 3rd QB.
2. Any improvement from Humphries.
3. Fua vs. Martin.
4. Taylor vs. Williams. And if it's Taylor, who will be the KR.
5. A major surprise, and I have no idea who/what it will be.

I am just just going out on a limb here and thinking that they won't keep either Sims or Thomas (maybe Sims to PS) and go out and claim a QB of waivers. There are going to a be a lot of QB's more game ready than LT and Sims let go after the last preseason game

No chance. 3rd string QB runs the scout time. There would be no reps for him to learn the system.

I actually want Taylor and Williams over Hughes, but I'm not the coach.

Martin was ok last game, nice to see if he plays faster this week. I didn't get to see Fua, couldn't remember his number (the downside of a 90 man roster). Going back to last year - both Golden and Powell made active rosters eventually, and both are still fighting to make the roster again this year - but it makes a hell of a battle for us fans to watch.

Tough decisions on this one. I feel Williams is the best runner, Taylor should bulk up and become a fullback considering how slow he is but good at blocking. Then Hughes would probably be more expendable

Speaking of Hughes... We cut a very good fullback right when BA got here because he said he doesn't like fullbacks. Does he just not consider Hughes a FB?

I'll be watching the whole game it's still football
Plus it's fun watching bubble players trying to make the team
So will Sims play the first half more than likely?
Also what channel is the game on local?
