Browns hall of fame tackle Joe Thomas will have his name etched – virtually – in another football shrine.

Thomas, who played 11 seasons after being selected with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton in 2023.

Thursday he was inducted into the Ring of Honor for EA Sports’ “Madden NFL” in its third class.

“The Ring of Honor celebrates players whose exceptional leadership and unforgettable moments have shaped both the NFL and Madden culture,” according to a release.

With that recognition, “Madden” players will have the opportunity to play as Thomas in “Madden Ultimate Team.” Thomas will join:

  • Peyton Manning
  • Marshawn Lynch
  • Ray Lewis
  • Sean Taylor (posthumous)
