Did Bruce Arians, see this train wreck coming and decided to retire with no QB, bad offensive line, no wide receivers and premier running back, who maybe a head case. Did Bruce Arians, lose faith in Steve Keim to re-stock the team ?

No. He got old and unhealthy. There was probably some pressure as well because, and I can’t believe I’m saying this, back then people wanted us to get to the super bowl again and it was becoming clear that Bruce just wasn’t that guy.

No. agree that age & health was an issue. However, he really wanted DC James Boettcher to take his place.

I'm sure he saw it coming ... inexplicable that they shelved DJ31 for the entire season instead of allowing him to come back from IR. He knew CP3 was retiring long before anyone else.

I don’t think it would be a train wreck with Arians as coach one more year, but I don’t think they’d be going to the playoffs either. That’s what i think he saw coming

They knew their window had closed once CP3 decided to retire.

He saw it coming, it’s why no hot named coaches wanted to come here last year.

If this is the case then he and Keim caused it.

He saw the Keim time crap. With no Bruce he's like the worst GM in the league. I'd rather have Ferguson at this point

Arians has already said he was forced out on the air. He was probably told by Keim to get rid of Amos or leave and he chose to leave.

chris... is this another case of Sanders Bold Statements backed up by... nothing... like the "i told you Sarver wanted Doncic" thing when McD got fired?

i mean... NO ONE here apparently heard this and it would have been a 5K post thread if anyone did.

There were the rumors that Sarver wanted Doncic but if that was true he’d be a Sun I’m thinking.

BA was contemplating retirement throughout the 2017 season. He was in poor health. He told the players prior to the last game and had a very emotional press conference. The decision to retire was his and his wife. Its BS to say he was forced out and that he actually stated that on the air.

Wait. When did this happen?

Let me see if I can find the exact quote. He was doing a broadcast and he said that injuries are the reason he was in the booth and not coaching.

That isn't the statement made by someone who willingly stepped away

I don’t recall hearing or reading about this and i highly doubt that Arians would throw the organization under the bus even if that were the case. All whispers were that he was contemplating retirement as early as October last year.
