At this time of the NFL year, don't believe anything you hear from head coaches or general managers.

It seems like every year , coming out of the combine heading towards the draft , every team unveils their Bagdad Bob misinformation minister . Perhaps BA is just trying to get out front this year .

Got to be one of the greatest lies of the past decade. I hope he had his best poker face on when he told that farce.

Technically Arians is telling the truth. Right now they don't have what he considers a starting RT on the roster for next year. However, I think he's touting Sowell a bit in the article and Sowell will be the RT next year.

Yankey won't be drafted by Cards. They're still high on Watford.

Rd. 2 - TE, S, DL or OLB, IMO.

They'd even more likely take a tackle than a guard.

Maybe he thinks a young pass rusher opposite Abraham or a starting CB opposite PP is a bigger need but this reeks of a smoke screen. There will be plenty of teams in need of a LT so Arians doesn't want to tip his hand. I honestly worry about ARZ being able to land a LT in FA. BAL & OAK could franchise Monroe & Veldheer. CIN could franchise Collins. Good thing there are a lot of OT's on the market. If BAL franchises Monroe (don't know how they will afford that when they will be over the cap) then Michael Oher would be available, would be a great fit at RT. Anthony Collins of CIN, can he play LT? I thought Whitworth was their LT, did Collins replace him? I always thought he was a RT but Andre Smith is their starting RT.

In theory could ARZ afford to sign a LT & RT if they went after Collins & Oher or Veldheer & Monroe instead of Albert? With all the teams in need I think prices will go through the roof.

He was on jay mohr about a week ago and jay asked him about the draft. Kind if just going off the top of my head but it went something like " ok Bruce drop the bomb right here who you taking in the first round" some chuckles and then Bruce said all I'm gonna say is we need to get better at the line of scrimmage on both ends of the ball.

I think we go O line or TE in round 1 though. I can't see us drafting a defensive lineman yeah 90 will need to be replaced eventually but as of right now he's still pretty good and still under contract so he's still a starter

I would think a rush-OLB that is young, would be very high on BA's list of needs.

This is actually a brilliant statement. When it comes time for free agency, other teams will not think we are players for a LT and we can swoop in. Then, if we do miss out, Bradley is non the wiser and thinks he was the plan at LT the whole time.

high about a player who never played a single snap before...
if they were so high abou him he would not have been inactive all season
they prefered playing a journeyman gibson instead of him

Who knows. To Bruce it might be a guy who can kick the ball deep after scoring. Could be a smokescreen.

What I find hilarious though and a bit OT, was just a minute or so ago on Fox they said Arians provided our scouting reports on each Seattle players and the different schemes Seattle runs to Manning and the Broncos.

Looks like that scouting report did the Broncos a lot of good.

The team has said many things -- but the one consistent thing they have said is "get stronger on both lines of scrimmage"

Maybe you throw a TE who is a blocker -- but I think o and d linemen.

For you guys that keep touting Anthony Collins as an answer, I give you his year-by-year number of starts from 2008 to 2013:

6,7,3,2,0,7. Total career starts in 6 years: 25.

He's the 6th lineman on that team. Since they had numerous injuries, he got some starts this year.

Fair enough but his competition is So well. I get that he might not be the long term answer at LT but he is an upgrade to our LT position.

You don't really believe that do you? The other teams in the NFL aren't stupid. Well some of them are. All they have to do is look at some of our film and they know we need help at Tackle.

As for RT why would they move Sowell there when they already have Winston and Massie? Other than the Duckjake jinx I can't figure out what happened with Massie. He just looked really solid in 2012 being quick off the snap and tough in run blocking. Strange.

If we don't sign a LT in FA, I can see us not taking a LT in the first round because we'd be getting the fourth "best" by the time we pick. Same with an OLB, since we also have three guys coming off injuries. That is why I can see us going DL, TE or SS with the 20th pick.

DL, TE, SS or cornerback.
