All this BA to the Browns talk has me thinking he was forced out . And that upsets me as a cards fan. It also leads me to believe that neither Keim or Wilkes are going anywhere. If they wanted a complete philosophical change of direction then MB has to be willing to give It more than 1 season.

2) You never know with fans and honestly, who cares what they think in the off-season? If you win, they support. If you lose, they hate. I know a few high achievement types who retired, and then got right back into things within a year

It's usually a BS line from any GM, coach, or player. They all say they are stepping away to spend more time with family yet they jump right into broadcasting or some other venture which takes up most of their time anyway. It's a tired old excuse that no one in the press is going to call them on because then they would look like the bad guy.
