His coach speak has been annoying for a while now. In the end I don't think it really matters though.

He was asked the question in the first interview after receiving the CoY award...what will you be doing one year from today in San Francisco? And he made this reply nonchalantly and with a grin. What was he supposed to say when put on the spot with a question as specific as that?

Then the next interview where he states that, he stated it as a goal...let's go get in their locker room.

He stated it in a way that is nothing like any of the Ryan's and he only stated it in response to a question. Not really warranting much of the concern that most of y'all are expressing lol.

You say "hopefully" thus making it acceptable and not cocky ;)

Ticky-tac...Nothing in the way in which he answered was unacceptable. There was an air of sarcasm in the manner in which he replied to the question lol.

Did you watch the two videos where those comments were made?

I did

"were dressing in their locker room and you can write that down today"

Pure cockiness. in the moment or not thats exactly what it was.

Pure cockiness (In your opinion). in the moment or not thats exactly what it was.

I took that grin at the end to be signature Bruce Arians sarcasm (In my opinion). Too each their own.

I still think that if replies like that offend people, they need to grow thicker skin.

The video at the bottom of the linked article, Bruce doesn't make a prediction, he states it as a goal.

(Lucky for us, opinions aren't fact)

Nobodys offended. I'm surely not. But you have to have some kind of "humble" IMO… Smirk or not when he adds the "write it down" It wreaks of cocky… Look at the # of us that don't care for it? Imagine opponents now?

Its all good just agree to disagree.

BA does have a humble side that can be seen in many of his interviews. And to be frank...I can care less what opponents think...I'd rather imagine how BA's team responds. And for all accounts and purposes, they play hard for him and love him. It has been stated by many of his players that they love his style and his brand of humor. So whether or not his reply was cockiness or sarcasm, if that is part of BA's personality traits that his players like and respond to...then all good. Haven't seen a single comment from any of his players that has called him out for cockiness.

Nor would you ever unless they are just stupid considering he could axe them if perceived as not being apart of the "team"

BA is not quite as obnoxious as Buddy and Rex, but he's getting close. Needs to be a bit more humble and less smirky/obnoxious sometimes.

Candor can turn into "caca" pretty quick.
