I'm just glad everyone did the smart thing and hustled Amare away from the play. Bowen's a sack of amphibious whale shyte and isn't worth the trouble.

If it wasn't Bruce Bowen, I'd have said it wasn't a big deal...it didn't look like much.

However, it was Bruce Bowen and he's proven dirty. So ef him.

He knows when the Suns beat you to do something dirty and hope they react.

Somebody needs to just punch him in the face. I would pay money to see Shaq knock him out.

You know I really would have liked to see Amare just crack bowen in the face immediately after that play. Yes, Amare gets suspended for a couple of games, but bowen sure as hell won't pull that **** anymore if he's got a cracked skull.

While we are trying to win out to get to 3rd or 2nd seed????

The same stupidity cost us probably a trip to the finals last year.

Agreed. If anyone else in the league did that, I'd say Amare was making something out of nothing. But you can't give Bowen the benefit of the doubt after all of the petty garbage he has comitted.

I hate when people wish injury on players from other teams, even if it is just a joke. But Bowen tries to hurt other players, so I would laugh if I saw him get hurt.

Since Pike will likely be entering retirement soon, I nominate him. :D

Seriously I've never seen Pike react negatively but something tells me he can take care of business. Besides to me he looks like the new James Bond.

IMO, seeding to the Suns is irrelevant. We can dominate on the road against powerhouses (as tonight's game has shown). The last 3 years we have been the division champions and also been the top or a top seed with home-court advantage and that has not worked out for us well at all. So what if we get the 6th seed, let's give it a try.

Oh, and correct me if I'm wrong, but did we have Shaq when we missed that trip to the finals last year? HMMM.......

Bingo!!! you got that right.
What I found strange was after it happened I didn't hear the announcers say another word about it. Was a foul called on Bowen? Was he thrown out of the game because I didn't see him play after that. It almost seemed like they wanted to sweep the thing under the carpet.

Um No!

This would be Rudy T. vs. Kermit Washington part 2. Now if you want to talk about Amare or Shaq that would be a different situation.

Of course I was only joking about Pike and the new James Bond but I do think they have a facial similarity.

I did think about mentioning Marks but he would not be able to hold his ground, however, I think Pike might be another matter.

what did bowen do to amare?

that sob..

Here is a link to an article from from Paul Coro of AzCentral.com.

http://www.azcentral.com/sports/suns/articles/2008/04/09/20080409sunsonline.html

After Amare Stoudemire powerfully finished a 3-point play over Duncan, he took an elbow shot from Bruce Bowen while setting a screen that touched off the residual resentment from last season's playoffs of bitter feelings toward San Antonio's tactics and the ill-fated suspension.

Especially since, if he raises his own forearm to "protect himself," the referees are guaranteed to call an offensive foul against him.
