Anyone know when they will announce All-NBA First, Second and Third team?

Nash accepted his MVP award from commissioner David Stern twice, once for NBA TV and then again at center court just before the game.

D'Antoni was answering questions about being voted coach of the year.

There was less talk about the Mavericks than there was speculation of the Suns sweeping postseason honors (team president Bryan Colangelo is expected to be named NBA Executive of the Year).

But if these Suns are enjoying the party, they're not getting too drunk on their success.

I think it is clear the Bryan Colangelo is the favorite for the award and I would be shocked if he didn't win, but no where in the article is there anything but pure speculation. Please don't post articles announcing awards unless they have the phrase "official announcement" or at the very least "league sources confirm".

Huh? Fine time to request nobody to post articles of things that might not be "official"--we've been doing that for weeks now.

I am not annoyed by glowing writeups of Suns personnel detailing why the deserve a particular award. I do not mind articles that contain new information such as league sources confirming that someone has won an award. This article contains neither and is componded by the fact that the title of the thread, "Bryan Colangelo to be named NBA Executive of the Year," presents as fact something that, while very likely to happen, is just pure speculation at this point.

You could always not read a thread. I mean if you want the official announcement just look at ESPN or something.

BC is getting the same speculation that Nash and D'Antoni got before the awards were officially handed out. Word leaks out on these things before announcements are made if you havent noticed.

I would not have been shocked if Nash and D'Antoni had not won. They were great, but there were numerous other extremely worthy candidates. But the job BC did was absolutely amazing. He's gone through some periods when it seemed like nothing worked and I'm sure a few of us questioned whether he had what it takes. But this year, he's had the golden touch.
