Our receivers are not bad at all. Johnson is turning it around big time. And Fitz has hands of glue.
Note: another guy that's made it big today - Brian Gilmore, Niners. I remember his speed with the Cards, but not stretching out to catch a 42 yarder like the one he caught against the Ravens this afternoon.

He will always be remembered as the WR taken before "Q the messiah".

It's not his fault. I actually like him.

Johnson has turned out to be a good WR and I'm glad we have him.

But he didn't start out that way; originally, he dropped waaaay too many passes. And, yes, he was picked waaaay too high in the draft.

BJ had a good game. We needed him to.

Both he and Fitz have stepped up in Q's absence.

Lets be real about Johnson. He lacks something that we can't put our finger on. He has speed but makes very few plays down field. He runs good routes but he rarely gets open. He hardly ever has run after the catch. I am glad he is still on the team with Q hurt but for my money I would rather keep Urban for next years number 3. Johnson has not earned his #1 draft status or his salary. How many Td does he have? He is an after thought if Q and Fitz are in the lineup. My 2 cents

Didn't BJ completely disappear in the 2nd half? Honest question. I don't remember.

I see the Cards using a second day pick in the draft next year on a WR, just don't see how Johnson stays here having to play in the shadow of Fitz and Boldin...BJ's whole career would be a total lunar eclipse.

He has a nice role on the team but i don't see how anyone can be happy that a top 20 pick is a #3 WR after 5 years in the NFL. I don't dislike him but you want more out of a top 20 pick.Just like all the production we got from Wendell Bryant :D.

You can't hold it against BJ for not living up to where he was drafted. Most people thought it was a reach at best. He is a solid WR.
