Jim Flynn, of the Pewter Report, reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed free agent WR David Boston (Buccaneers) to a contract Friday, Feb. 2. Terms of the deal were not available, although it is believed to be for one year.

Barely!

Boston took what might have been a stellar career and turned it into what amounts to a hanger-on. He keeps getting signed based upon raw skill alone, then doesn't do crap with the opportunities he is given.

Devon man, I feel for you bro. The worst is when you have a once loved then hated players jersey. I could tell you a thing or two about all the $200 + Owens jerseys sittin in closets around here.

Boston has lost a step and quite a bit of flexibility as well. He might make this team of under-achievers as there is little skill here beyond Galloway. Boston is a shadow of what could have been a great receiver and should serve as a warning to young receivers entering the game. The game really is bigger than any of them.
