What the hell.

It's getting to the point the Suns might consider sitting him the rest of the season.

If the Suns wanted to trade Warren this summer, it is going to hurt his value.

Ball is still out too, ankle injuries can be bothersome for some players. Nothing to read into here.

Bucks have a very long lineup. Will be a tough game for the Suns - unless Lopez launches threes all game like the last meeting. :)
You can try Ayton on Giannis, but he will pick up a lot of fouls. Perhaps it would be wise to start Bridges for this game. Oubre can take Ilyasova.

We don’t have a player that can hope to slow down Giannis. Just make him work.

Oubre is the only player we have that might be able to guard Giannis, Bridges isn't tall enough, and I think Ayton is too slow. I'm not saying Ayton is slow in general but compared to Giannis he is. Virtually all players over 6'6 are slow compared to Giannis though so there's no reason to read more into that.

Oubre has good length and is a little taller than Bridges so I'd let him try until he picks up some fouls or fails miserably. I think we'll see everyone on Giannis at some point.

I wouldn't mind seeing Ayton drop Bledsoe on a drive. If he does that then I won't critique his game for the rest of the season. That might show he's got some nastiness in him as well, in a good way.

Hopefully Booker's able to get his shot falling tonight. We beat Milwaukee in Milwaukee earlier this year. I don't care if it was a 1 possession game or not, this team can do it again if they play smart. Just because you beat a team earlier in the season doesn't mean you can repeat that later. I hope the Suns aren't cocky about facing them because young players generally are and that could end poorly for them.

The Suns might be better focusing their primary efforts on players other than Giannis. The concern is about players getting into foul trouble if they play him too tightly.

I find it funny that on a board which has heated debates about Aytons defense every single night some one actually posts that we should have him defend the MVP of the league ha

His one on one defense is just fine. He may not be a defensive stopper, but he more than holds his own when it comes to one on one defense. Where he struggles is help defense, rotations, weak-side challenges, etc. Honestly, he is the only player strong enough not to get bullied by Giannis, and long enough to be able to back off to avoid Giannis driving to the hoop and still be able to challenge the shot. That leaves the rim unprotected though, and it gives the other team a huge rebounding advantage. Looks a little bit better with Bender in the game. He should be able to handle Lopez while Ayton handles Giannis. My general preference when facing top players is to give them different looks by switching defenders every couple of possessions. Have Ayton start on him, switch to Oubre, then JJ, then Bridges, back to Ayton, etc. Holmes might be an even better option if he is on the floor at the same time Giannis is. That kid is strong.

Well if we have Ayton guarding Giannis that would mean some people don't have to acknowledge that Giannis led the Bucks to the win and could blame someone else on the Suns for it because if they admit Giannis went off that would be a knock on Ayton's defense.

Alternatively the reason could be that Giannis is going off regardless so that gives Ayton a free pass completely. Yes, he guarded Giannis but no one can stop him so why should Ayton be blamed for it?

Either way, Ayton gets let off the hook.

Where's the photo of Warren sitting in a chair with his leg propped up, looking sullen? That's all he has left for pre-game preparation, I guess.

Why does it seem like every single time Bender contests a 3 it goes in?

The Suns are content with the outside shot. It's hard to win this way.
