The problem is who tests him? If he’s guarding Crowder we never want Crowder putting the ball on the floor. But if he’s on Bridges, Bridges needs to be running him ragged and not just stand in the corner.
But will Monty set up plays where that happens?
As I said earlier, offense is 100x easier for an injured player than is defense. There’s a reason Davis reinjured himself trying to stay in front of Paul and book.
Pick and roll him into a switch. We do it to others all the time. Book or Paul.
Well Davis had a different injury for one. And leaping and running from that knee is a pretty good gauge at how healthy he is.
Not to wear him down. To see if he can move laterally defensively. We haven’t tried it even once to see if it’s an issue.
