It's not THAT bad as whole. I've seen worse. But the glaring oversight of Jimmy Clausen is laughable.

Jahvid Best in the first round? When he announced he was leaving he said he'd been told he was probably a 3rd round pick but he hoped to move up to the first round with an impressive combine. Now if he's healthy I expect him to post a BLAZING 40 time, but he's just not durable enough I'd be pretty surprised if he goes in the first round. I'd love him in the 3rd or 4th to return KO's and be a change of pace back, the role Arrington played before and Hyphen tried to play this year. I'm the biggest Cal homer on this board and even I don't see Best going nearly that high.

I also think people are high on where Taylor Mays should go, if he is on the board at 24 I'll be surprised.

How good of a return guy do you think he can be? With the impact that Cribbs and Hester have had the last few years I wouldn't be surprised to see a team use a premium pick on a top notch return guy.

I think Mays is going to fall farther than he should. I just think that after his senior season everyone is going to focus more on what he can't do instead of what he can do.

You better delete this before Matt breaks up with you. :D

Matt and I are seeing other people. He is interested in a girl named Carol and I am making Googly Eyes at a tall, skinny, curly haired chick named Samantha ;)

The problem with Best is he's gotten hurt every year at Cal. Great athlete, great kid but he just gets hurt. He's talking about getting stronger so he can take the pounding in the NFL but I suspect he'll never be more than situational and returns.

Best is VERY fast, he'll be among the 5-10 fastest guys in the NFL, and he's more than just fast he can cut and he doesn't go down as easily as say Hyphen does. The problem is KO return guys get hit hard too so I expect him to have some injuries. I don't think he can return punts, he didn't at Cal.He's also a very good cover guy, as a freshman it seemed like he made the tackle on every KO return.

I don't see him in the first round but we'll see. He was told 3rd round but part of that was because of the serious injury from that scary fall he took late in the season. He's extremely fast, I don't think he's Chris Johnson fast but he can really haul butt.

Kiper has the Redskins taking him with the fourth pick. He'd be an absolute steal at twenty-six.

He scares me with the recent shoulder injuries but he is a very accurate passer.

I wouldn't take a QB that high for the Cards but if a good one is sitting there you'd certainly have to consider it. If Leinart is the guy you trade the young guy later, if Leinart's not the guy you play him until the young guy is ready.
