I've followed this team closely since 1988. There is something super wrong with the organization. I don't know how anyone can deny this, with what has transpired (over the last 40 years of history; I wasn't watching football before this).

Great- if BB wants out, and we can unload his contract for a for a 2-4 round pick, I guess great. However, this doesn't depreciate the fact this organization is a dysfunctional nightmare. WHY have players historically had bad breakups with the cardinals?

Until ownership changes. Nothing will change. 80% of the board knows this.

I will take a 2008 like season so we can win the first super bowl and can call it a day. Building a winner like Patriots, Steelers are not in the cards for this ownership.

I don’t think we can get much of anything.. people don’t want to pay his position top dollar similar to RBs. We’ll be lucky to get a 5th or 6th rounder if someone is even willing to take his salary.

If you are a regular Cardinal fan, who are you going to the game to see at this point? The ghost of Zach Ertz? Hollywood for a handful of snaps? Talking about tanking is great for fans like us who devote so much time to a message board, but the average Cardinal fan has to be fully disinterested at this point. 15 years of gaining an iota of respectability is pretty much shot.

Has there ever been a pro franchise, owned for as long by one family, that has been a loser this much?

When it rains it pours I guess. Glad monti didn’t blink on Budda’s contract request. The next few games were going to be pretty rough anyhow. Might as well have all the stars (what’s left of them) sit until Murray is back
