Well its a little bizarre that you would call it recency bias and call for the stats to be looked up. And of course @ajcardfan saying they only happened in my head. (clearly they didnt) as if there was no issue and his snaps were just fine. If you or him now remember the issues? But whatever you're right lets get back on topic Hudson is a non issue anymore thank god.
Hudson making the line calls made the line better regardless of his inability to properly snap to a garden gnome.
Budda is what he is. An in box safety...and he is good at it.

Trips me out a little...folks panicking about bakers money like somehow we are gonna run out. No way Mike let's MO spend enough for his contract to become an issue

Contract details are out.
From what I read out of it, 3 major points to call out.
1. 3.2M moved against the 2024 cap.
2. Back-loaded contract with the highest yearly salary in his final year at 16.2M
3. Roster bonuses included in the final two seasons.

I mean I love Budda I bet we all do but I think as part of this contract they need to ask for more accountability. Budda stop running yourself out of plays that lead to long TD runs.
I get the DL sucks but he makes 1-2 great plays a game in the backfield on a RB and 1-2 a game where he completely guesses the wrong gap and they often lead to long runs. Did it on consecutive plays in OT.

And he HAS to make more plays on the ball. 120 NFL games and SEVEN picks, zero in the last 2 years, he has THREE passes defended in his last 2 seasons total. 5 fumble recoveries in his career 0 in the last 3 seasons.

If you want him to play better, put better talent around him. You can't "do your job" if you are trying to do other player's jobs as well.

That's part of it but part of it is the be the hero mentality that leads to defensive breakdowns.

He did the same thing earlier in the game on a run by Hubbard and it almost broke for a long one, I think someone got just enough of his leg to slow him up

If you don't trust your line's ability to to hold gaps, you end up having to guess which gap to shoot or else you get walled off. Lbs and Ss have to deal with this. It's why maintain the LOS is so important for LBs to be successful. Because of our DL, Budda can't wait which means sometimes he is going to guess the wrong gap which will lead to a big gain. It's just a gamble that a good DL prevents you from having to make.
