One of the more controversial moves that Bruce Arians and staff made after taking over control of the team was letting John Lott go. For some reason this article and Carson's comments made me think that Arians really knew what he was doing:

“I’m trusting a professional,” Palmer said. “Buddy is as good as they get. He’s as good as they come in this league. I’ve been around a bunch of strength coaches, but Buddy is hands down the best. He’s very focused. He’s very concerned with it. It takes up a lot of his day because he’s always talking about it.

“I just do whatever he tells me.”

Honestly what do you expect him to say?

Yes is a Kind of interview i dont really pay attention
I heard the same from Fitz talking about Lott

Heard many my reviews over the years and articles regarding Lott and how amazing he was...

These are feel good articles that are asking question of employees about employers... It can't help but be roses...

He said Buddy was the best hands down... that is more than a feel good story :)
But Palmer has likely only with worked with 3-5 S&C coaches his entire career so how would he know who is the best? Maybe Buddy is the best he's worked with.

But, to me, strength and conditioning coaches are a dime a dozen.

If he's better that's good to hear. I think Lott did a great job. I was sold on him being more than just a strength coach when he was able to set an Ideal weight for each player he thought they would perform best at. He even told Kurt to drop around 10 pounds. The fact Kurt did what he asked should mean something. At that time Kurt did whatever he wanted to.

I guess one determining factor would be comparing injuries during each coaches tenure
