Didn't find a thread on this...

Is anyone watching? It's on USA on Thursday nights. Last week was the 1st episode. Gotta say I really liked it. Reminds me of a combination of The Equalizer/MacGyver/A-Team...Equalizer, because he helps people in need...MacGyver because he's making cool gadgets out of ordinary things...A-Team, because nobody seems to get killed.

Oh, and Gabrielle Anwar is hot as hell...Bruce Campbell has a great part, too...and it's cool to see Sharon Gless (Cagney) doing something productive on T.V. again.

Any other thoughts?

Here's the IMDB link:

I liked the first episode.

Jeffrey Donovan was good on The Pretender. I'm surprised he didn't get a starring role sooner.

Well, very disappointed that I will have to wait another 9 months to see a new episode. I got to say, USA Network has the three best shows on TV - Monk, Psych, and now Burn Notice.

I didn't think I would like 'Jeffrey Donovan' as a lead good-guy, Michael Westen, but he works in spades. The Sam character is written quite well, as is the role of Michael's mother. Don't care too much for the brother... but nothing can be perfect. Has anyone noticed how "Fiona's" accent comes and goes... hilarious. I think they do that on purpose.

They are re-running season one, leading up to season two on July 12th (?)...Perfect opportunity to bring on some new fans.

Ok, this may not hold up but I was thinking that 1 guy working with friends. He makes all this useful stuff out of junk. The biggest difference is the voilence. If I remember correctly macgyver didn't like violence. But they both were helping the 'little guy' and while burn notice gets paid it is usually not much.

The "guy and friends" I'm down with.
This is more violent, the reason I thought A Team over McG was the whole "team for sale" aspect, Burn Notice Team (I couldn't think of a better moniker) doesn't collect although they often find themselves in the roll of mercenaries, much like the A team.

Maybe I'm looking for an unfair comparison.

Ok, more of a split of the two....maybe throw in some Knight Ridder for fun :)

My aunt is in love with this show. I watched about 3 episodes yesterday, and I thought it was pretty decent. The lead guy is pretty cute, too. I put season 1 on my netflix queue, and I'll probably watch the premiere of Season 2.

My initial thought about the girl sidekick is WOW way too skinny + WOW awful lip job. Not a fan of her right now.

She is too skinny and a little over the top. Least favorite character on the show.
