Season finale was tonight. WHooooooeeeee!

New episodes start again in June.

I really like this show. It's quickly becoming a favorite. Not to the level of the X-Files or Friends (basically hard-core obsessed), but most certainly around Scrubs level (always entertaining) in terms of re-watchability.

Good finale. I am actually sad to see MW nemesis so to speak go out like that. I thought there was some potential there in the future. You definitely got the feeling that the "new MW" had a hard time doing what he did.

At least you know who burned him and why. Interesting to see where this goes next. Love this show.

Trying to get caught up to this season. I've always loved spy stuff. It definitely fills the need.

Smart, funny, and entertaining!

LOVED the episode with the crazy guy and the "aliens." LOL Good acting by that guy, too. I think he was the cop in Garden State...

Anyway, the past few eps have been really good. Love this show!!

I love the yogurt thing that goes on in the show. As it lead me to buying yogurt. Love yogurt but not like this! LOL!

The summer finale looks interesting! Tonight's episode was okay. The Fi/Michael storyline confuses me sometimes. Sometimes Fi acts like this whiny girl but other times it's Michael being the baby. Oh well.

Bruce Campbell is freaking awesome.

Great summer finale tonight!

I CHEERED when Michael shot Strickler. Slimy SOB.

And that scene where they took Fi... wow, that shocked me. I was not prepared for that gas thing to come flying in the window. I thought Michael got shot in the back, and was like WHAT!

Will be exciting to see what this winter brings. Is it January yet?

My only gripe was Michael's accent. Nice try, but no.

Did you notice they didn't even let Feona attempt an Irish accent? Word was that the feedback on her Irish accent was so bad at the start of the series that they wrote in her adopting an American accent. Her accent was 10 times worse then Micheal's. At least his was passable at times.

Also,

I too cheered we he shot the slimy SOB. The best part is that he did so without hesitation. Didn't try and wound him...nothing. The other part I like is it reminds all the viewers that Michael is a killer when he has to be. Often throughout the show, they show his character with compassion and show him being conservative with some bad guys opting to get them arrested versus taking them out.

Is there a difference between "summer finale" and "season finale"?

Also...

I was disappointed when Strickler got capped. I thought he was a good character to have in the show to kind of push Michael is the right (albeit thuggish) direction. He'll have a new nemesis next season i guess...

Yes. Typically shows are on hiatus during the Summer then start there new episodes when summer is over. Burn Notice comes back prior to that (during Summer) for the first half of their season. This is really a "mid-season" finale even though they are calling it a "summer finale". The show will then be on break while most shows are showing the first half of their seasons leading up to X-mas. Burn Notice will then be back in January to show the 2nd half of its season.

Networks have been experimenting on some of their shows with Summer seasons to see if they can get ratings while competing shows are on a summer hiatus.

It seems like a good idea. Capitalize in an undervalued market. Hopefully it's working. Shows like this deserve a little financial love.
