Best ever, either a place in the Mission District of San Fran or Rico's in Central Phoenix.

Best in Phoenix:

Rico's. 16th Street and maybe Palm. Red Chili and beans. Unbelievably good.

Best ingredients: refried beans, guacamole, a little rice, salsa, cheese, and tomatoes. Need enough beans, salsa, and guac.

No lettuce.

I can get a great burrito in A LOT of places around me. It's a different kind of burrito here in Nuevo Mexico though. No guacamole, sour cream, salsa or any of that mess. Red or green chile, carne adovada, chorizo... mmmm.

Best burrito ingredients besides the meat...cheese, hot salsa, jalapeños, guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, tomato, pinto beans, more cheese, more jalapeños. I must be forgetting something, oh yeah! RICE, RICE, RICE!


I also like Baja Fresh. The burrito ultimo is damn good. Yes, it has rice. And I do put salsa and jalapenos on it

i agree that NM owns this category - carne adovada is awesome - makes for a great breakfast meat as well

Roberto's in San Diego is the best burrito ever. Their California Burrito is the stuff of legend.
