Legal, what do you mean? Will they wear it this year?

As we've discussed many, many times, the old Red jersey (plain, with White numerals) is officially listed as an alternate. I have no idea if or when they will be worn, but this is what they meant by the Cardinals having three different jerseys to work with when they unveiled the new uniforms in 2005.

Pantone,

I would like to know what shade of blue that seahawk helmet is? It looks like puke green to me. My point still stands that at a distance you cant see the Seattle logo. Since it is roughly the same color as the rest of the uniform it is just a blur of green to me.

When I think of the colors of the Falcons I think of red and black. I have not been to offical website to see what Atlanta lists as its colors but I dont think of white.

I also think it is very tacky when a team outlines its logo, that is the same color as its helmet in white to make it show up against the helmet. I think the Falcons have increased the size of the white border on its logo since they first went to black helmets because the logo was not standing out from the helmet. When Atlanta had red helmets I do not recall outlining the logo in white. I do know when the logo was black and the helmet red I could see the logo at a much greater distance and it was easier to see.

It just seems to me if you want something to stand out you make use of contrast. On a stop sign it is white lettering on red. See the outcry if someone tried to put red lettering on a red stop sign. If the goal is for the logo to be seen on the helmet than I think dark/light contrast is the way to go.

I think in the unlikely event Bidwill will want red helmets than the use of an all white or black cardinal head would look better.

I personally don't like red on red, or green on green, or blue on blue. I loved the old Cardinal uni's from their days in St. Louis. I loved the cardinal insignia on the sleeve. I like the new, meaner looking cardinal on the helmet, but the old jersey & pants were easier to look at.

Pantone,

Last thing I forget in previous post. You said the red numbers and jersey look different because they are made of different material. To me all that matters is how it appears. If the red does not match because of using different material than if it was me I would not use the different material. It seems to me all that mattters when choosing uniforms is how it appears. Why the reds dont match is irrelavent. Fact is they dont appear to be the same color of red even if they are the same color red. It is like if you have a car accident. The body shop guy needs to repaint the damaged area so the paint matches in all the damaged areas whether some of the area is metal and some plastic. Anyway, way too much though and effort into uniforms. If they played good I would not care if they dressed in yellow chicken suits feathers and all.
