I had a serious response to this thread, but realized I should save it for a more deserving OP.

In a van...down by the river.
Does this mean the Rams aren't moving here and the Cardinals aren't going back home?
Dammit. One can dream...

I often wonder what would've happened if the Cardinals had waited another 10 years to get out of St Louis. Would the Rams have moved into Sun Devil stadium instead?

What? My guess is less justified than any sports writer who dreams up what they write each day?

no but the way you create the thread you make it sound like something happen and put zero substanance to point to the fact that these are your wild guesses.

If you typed something like :this is what I think will happen" I would be happy to debate it but when you list it all like its factual, I lose all interest.

I see Canada, Mexico, LA and London. and it works well with expanded playoffs - I would prefer no playoff byes just home field advantage. and Sunday game instead of Saturday advantage.

yea half the NFL re in the playoffs, but if top seed can't beat the last seed - than screw em - they don't belong there anyway. Keeps the tradition preseason and 4 quarters of the season. and doesn't change the playoff schedule either.

just can't see 1 team getting a buy either. breaking their weekly routine, more cash more glory all around! Woo Hoo

Utah, San Antonio and Oklahoma City are too small of markets for an NFL team. LA, London, Mexico City and Toronto would all be ideal for market size.

I think there is only like 18 or 20 people in all of Green Bay.

No professional team would move into SDS - and I don't think the Big Red are welcome in Chicago anymore.

And what of the third largest metro area north of the Mexican border?

I don't think a team other than the Bills moves to Toronto, and my guess is that they don't. The Bills don't own Toronto the way they think they do: the "popular" teams like the Pats, Steelers, and Niners are just as popular in Toronto.

They could though, first by just improving on the field. The new stadium will be a draw for Toronto fans, especially if it ties into Niagara tourism, or is just a cool place downtown. The proposed site between Buffalo and Rochester is a bad idea, IMO.

I believe Canadian NFL broadcasts are divided between broadcasters according to time slots (1pmET/SNF/MNF vs. 4pmET/Thursday) so it's hard for either network to "own" the Bills (though the former gets most of their home games).

One thing that could work well in Toronto is a London-type situation where they rotate teams. But personally I like home teams to keep their home games...
