If memory serves Byrd has been a healthy inactive for a few games. That usually says he’s not showing much at practice. He should be busting his but if he’s the kind of player that can help move this team forward.
Agree but he seems to be the only outside WR who gets open.

Byrd, Cooper and Fitz have to sign a contract, and you have cut Sherfield, so is this what you want to start with?
I think Sherfield cut himself when he was unable to step up and produce. I thought his production would mirror Byrd's to this point and it just hasn't.

I have concerns if Byrd and maybe Cooper are back next year.

Either we didn't draft well or some guys haven't developed as well as we hoped. Got a lot riding on Isabella's development.
I think Cooper has more of a chance than Byrd as I believe Hakeem Butler will slide into the outside WR role. Maybe we get someone who can return kicks and punts which would limit Cooper's value.

My guess at next years WR roster

Larry Fitzgerald
Christian Kirk
Hakeem Butler
Andy Isabella
Keesean Johnson
Pharoah Cooper
*Draft pick*
I'm curiuos what the plan for Isabella is this offseason. Spend it focusing totally on the slot or does he just not have the suddenness for that?

The fact we've never thrown him a screen pass..

If we're doing that game then we could have taken AJ Brown (or Deebo Samuel) instead of Murphy and either Metcalf or McLaurin with our pick for Rosen.

Now we're not even thinking about drafting a WR.

Right but frankly I thought Murphy was a good pick. I can argue Brown is a better player than Murphy and may always be, but the other argument is Murphy was picked I think about 20 slots higher than Brown so if we had taken Brown there the argument would have been we took him too early.

I thought McLaurin was already off the board but I could be wrong, I really like him too. Pointed it out already his season is sort of unfair he was the best rookie WR in the class until they fired Gruden and made Haskins the starting QB, his season has dramatically changed because they're playing Haskins.

Some of that depends on Larry. My guess is that Isabella will have his offseason focused on being able to play outside. I could be wrong, but I just don't another path for him contributing at WR.

I think the coaches/Keim really understimated his lack of catch radius. He's got short arms, small hands, a body catcher and he's 5'8"

Then throw in a short QB who you kinda worry about throwing over the middle. Basically if Isabella had a Brady like precision passer I think he'd get the ball put on the #s every time and maybe be effective.

However, I'm not sure he's plucking the ball out of the air.

Just gotta hope he develops a skillset next year to be effective. Something. I think Kliff will just coach around his limitations (as of now)
