Sure. But you absorb lessons by admitting your failures (That was an absolute failure). Not making excuses for them. IMO

In any case, with Army losing today, B12 champ is pretty much guaranteed to be in the CFP, if there had previously been any doubt.

Before losing today, I think Arizona had a chance to go to a bowl game if they won out. Now Saturday is their bowl game.

Motivationally, it's hard to figure. I wish the game were in Tempe.

Yeah, the record means nothing in this rivalry. That’s what makes it interesting.

As they said on the broadcast...the clock stops when the ball is deemed to have hit the ground. The ball was entering the stands with time on the clock. Hence, he messed up and the refs did nothing. Kid is just learning and being a crybaby about his boneheaded stuff in the process. Part of the maturity thing. He'll learn from this. Hopefully.

On the onside kick, ASU tried to squib the ball so it had a chance to hit a BYU player. It was not as dangerous as it may have seemed. It was described as a low risk onside kick.

Dillingham puts a lot of thought process in these plays. Maybe too much sometimes. It's almost like he is playing a game of statistical chess, thinking several moves ahead.

In college the rule is the clock stops when it goes out of bounds and is considered incomplete. It doesn't have to hit the ground, just be incapable of being caught.

Huh? It was a cut and dry rule. Time was on the clock with ball entering stands from what I saw and what the refs apparently saw as well. What point are you trying to make? One where it defends the idiocy of that whole slop of an ending?!...lol. I mean, I'm a fan... But let's not be fans to the point of not being objective about stupid stuff our teams do.

Then he’s not very smart. A smart man looks at the fact that his strategy. Ould have cost him the game. Could other strategies? Sure. But his directly lead to a final play that could have lost. Saying it was right is hubris imo. Humility makes a good coach, great because it allows you to learn.

I was there and telling my Dad they should punt the ball because it was too easy to leave time on the clock with them in range of throwing to the end zone. I said you can't just throw the ball out bounds because the clock stops.

We survived it but what a ridiculous situation to put yourself in. Hell, kneel three times at the 4 yard line and they would have to go 95 yards in like 10 seconds.

So again, let me know what games this “rule” was ever enforced. I didn’t watch the wrong games and I WAS paying attention. Sounds like U of A bias. If not, show me when this “rule” was enforced. And don’t tell me I am uniformed without showing enforcement of this “rule”. You are attacking me but you are not showing when this “rule” was enforced. It was a simple request which you obviously cannot fulfill.
