Indiana Fever superstar guard Caitlin Clark recently told a wonderful story about an on-court moment she shared with recently retired WNBA great Diana Taurasi.

While speaking with late night legend David Letterman for his Netflix interview series My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, Clark detailed about how nobody in the league trash-talked her during her first season except for Taurasi.

“We just kept going back and forth at each other," Clark told Letterman about a Fever game against Taurasi and the Phoenix Mercury, "And [later in the game], she came up to me, and she’s like, ‘I just love ya.' Like, that's awesome."

Like, c'mon, that's awesome! For all the hoopla there was about a possible feud between Clark and Taurasi, it is abundantly clear how much they like and respect each other.
