Felt bad for Clark and Mitchell yesterday against Connecticut..... Neither was able to hit a bull in the butt with a bass fiddle. Those games happen, but it's awful that it happened in their first playoff game since 2016. The Fever is a much better team than they showed yesterday and hopefully they get back on track on Wednesday.

All top 4 teams won yesterday. Interesting. ;)

gotta be honest. before clark showed up I kinda assumed the wnba had folded years ago.
What's interesting is that I'm sure you've heard some of the players complain that they don't make enough as NBA players. The NBA subsidizes the WNBA. But women would rather watch Housewives of Drama than the WNBA. They would rather buy a Prada purse and a $9 Starbucks rather than spend money donning WNBA gear.

Texas man arrested, charged with stalking Fever's Caitlin Clark

A 55-year-old Texas man was arrested on a felony stalking charge in Indianapolis on Sunday after he allegedly repeatedly sent threats and sexually violent messages to Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark via social media, according to court documents.

Police records show that Michael Lewis, of Denton, Texas, was charged with a Level 5 felony after he was arrested at a hotel in Indianapolis. He is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. ET.

Lewis could face up to six years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

Lewis told officers that he was from Texas and claimed to be in Indianapolis on vacation.

When asked about why he had made so many posts about Clark, Lewis said he had an "imaginary relationship" with the WNBA star.

Police talked to Clark on Saturday, who said that she had altered her public appearances and patterns of movement because she feared for her safety after learning Lewis was in Indianapolis, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

Clark also said she didn't know Lewis and that she had never responded to any of his messages.

Police told Lewis to stop. However, just hours after being confronted by police, he resumed posting and tagging Clark.

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark will not participate in NBA All-Star special 3-point shootout in San Francisco and “wants her first three-point contest to be at WNBA All-Star in Indianapolis this summer,” her representatives at Excel Sports said today.

Good for her. Keeps the focus on WNBA

Maybe afraid it would be treated as a circus spectacle?

I understand the NBA 3-pont line is further away than the WNBA 3-point line, so this might be a factor.

Still, it would be great to see her compete at the NBA All-Star event.
