Ummm how do you not have Boldin on that list? He is only 25 and stats that have him headed to the HOF if he keeps it up?

OK, you're Carzy, but....

I'm excited with you. JJ looked good but I can't wait to see Edgy against the Niners to see what he really can do.

I to cannot wait to see Edge against the 9er's. He has only played the first couple of plays in the games and then the D is fired up and very seldom give rushing yardage on 1st series. I cannot believe anyone is questioning getting Edge. We have been absolutely horrible in the rushing area for several years now. I think the attitude Edge brings by itself is going to make a big difference in our running attack.

It is hard to believe we are watching a rookie when Leinart is in the game. Like everyone one else says there are going to be a lot of GM's that are going to regret letting Leinart drop to ten.

Agree. Any D is tough on the first series. They are trying to set the tone.

I bet our first play in the Reg season is a play action to edge and a pass to Fitz.

JJ is running like he did in college. He has come in this year with a great amount of desire and having the burden of carring the whole team off his back. He looks great on kick offs and wouldn't at all be surprised if he had a couple of TD runs. But in football one of the keys to winning is field position, with JJ playing as he has we will win this battle on special teams.

Take the dust off of your Arrington jersey I think he has arrived.

I'm amazed that this year's version of Arrington is so much better than what we saw of last year's rookie. But, without the arrival of Edge, I don't know if we see Arrington at this level.

My theory is this (and maybe you'll call me crazy, too): Last year, Arrington came in as the Cardinal's Great New Running Back. When reality slapped him in the face -- nobody knows what it's like to play at NFL level until they actually DO play at NFL level -- he lost heart. He demonstrated it, too. When the Cards simply had to gain an all important first down, Arrington...laid down.

Then the Edge was signed. He was gonna get offered a lot of money from a lot of people -- he signed with AZ. It gave the team, and the community, a huge lift. I don't know how much his presence has inspired and instructed Arrington; maybe a little, maybe a ton. But it told JJ that he didn't have to carry the team on his back. And it told him that he was gonna have to earn his place on the team.

I think Edge's arrival has spurred JJ's desire to win. Arrington is running more freely, with more desire, and he's taking hits. If he really wants to make a mark in pro ball, he's got to earn it. He's earning it. And he's not scared of the NFL, anymore.

Not sold on JJ..... Wait till the games count.

Q is the unquestioned heart of the offense. That crack back block last night was great!

I know what you mean, BRJ, but it is part of football and what he did is one of the reasons that he is considered one of the best WR's in the game.

That block made me sit up and say "wow", it exploded into the screen and I couldn't see who threw it. When the replay showed it was Q, I thought "it figures".

Don't forget Bryant Johnson? Dude hasn't dropped anything all pre-season, even though it's just two games.

I think Rolle has been impressive as well. He has been physical, and can cover. I don't think his coverage is perfect by any means, but the kid can play.

I have not been impressed by Rolle thus far. He can hit but he scares me in coverage. He had a pick last night but otherwise had a very poor game.

Are you high? You can't be referring to Adrian Wilson. He's gotten better every year...and now he's getting a lot of recognition league wide (pro bowl alternate).

Yup, Wilson is the least of our worries. He is a beast on D.

Rolle is a big time hitter and cover corner. I don't know why he plays so far off his man, but that could be coming from Pendy. I think Rolle over time will be one of the best at his position. As far as Wilson goes there are 31 teams willing to start a guy like him tommorro.
