Please post here with your reviews of the game. I have not picked it up yet but plan on it unless it gets horrible reviews. I was suprised to learn that the game came out before any reivews were completed. Could be a timing thing. Curious to find out how good this game is or isn't.

Score of 9.2 from IGN.com. Not bad, but I was hoping to hear that the single player campaign was longer than it is.

I will eventually get this eaither next weekend or the weekend after but I have call of duty 4 which a lot of people still play and madden and ncaa 09 to hold me over till than.

Good not great like part 4. Still solid though

Not a big fan of the tanks in multiplayer but the Nazi Zombies mini-game is incredibly addictive (its like Horde from Gears 2 but with more of a strategy element)

Haven't played the campaign yet, but the online experience is great. Not as a great as COD4 but it is still one of the top.

Good news is, is that I have not experienced the connection issues I had with COD4. (crosses fingers, knocks on woods, throws salt over shoulder).

I went seamlessly from game to game.

I like the online play as well. On team deathmatch I have about a 2:1 K/D. It's when I play other games that my KD goes to crap.

I started playing the campaign on veteran over the weekend so I will only have to play it once. It is better than the COD4 campaign thus far. It uses a lot of real WWII footage.

The box that pops up when you are done are much better than in COD4.

The maps are larger and more detailed.

I do have to get used to the footsteps sounds though. They are terrible. I haven't quite found my niche yet on this version though. I have a positive k/d ratio but I don't experience the success I do with COD4.

I like the mortar fire shaking you up if it's from a teammate. The dogs are relentless. Tanks are fun.

4 complaints

1. Spawning sucks. There seems to be at least 2-3 you spawn near the enemy and get immediately killed.

2. Last stand. Whoever uses it, the transition is so fast that the person shooting them winds up dead quite a lot.

3. Castle. glitchiest map I've ever been in. I'll teamkill if my mates try to glitch.

4. Team kills. You only get 3 before you get booted. If your guys have last stand forget about keeping the points away from the other guys.

Anyone still play this game? The new map pack, specifically the zombie map pack is awesome.

And yes the zombie map is a billion times better.

And Knee Deep is now my favorite map of all time.

I think all of the new maps are solid. Even better is that all of them are used unlike the one map in the Modern Warfare map pack that was only used for free for all matches.

I have really gotten into the game lately... This is really the first COD I have ever played, so needless to say I got my ass kicked for the first little while, but I have gotten comfortable enough to play with just about anyone... I think....

But yeah, if any of you guys are on, look me up, would love to get an ASFN game going or something!

Nick C, DCR, are you guys done with COD5? Or you gonna resume play after the new content is available for download?

I see Nick and a few others on COD4 but for whatever reason I cannot stay in a party or in a room, so I just avoid that game. I've gone through the help stuff with Microsoft and the COD4 people with no success.
