Buckeye Cardinal

I still think we go Defense.
Wilson or Gonzalez if we trade.
Wilson or Gonzalez if we trade.
Disagree. With the money we’re paying Murray, Cardinals have to fix the offense first. Johnson would be the ideal pick if we trade down. Exactly what the Eagles did in Gannon’s first year there. This team will build from the inside out, but tough to fix both lines in one draft.I still think we go Defense.
Wilson or Gonzalez if we trade.
I also expect the Texans to trade up maybe with the Lions to #6 & still get a QB (kid from FL). Lions would still have 12 & 18, so they have some leverage to move up if they absolutely want someone.Ok, here we go:
1. CAR - Young QB
2. HOU - Anderson E
3. LVR - Stroud
4. IN - Levis QB
5. SEA - Wilson DL
6. DET - Carter DL
7. AZ - Johnson OL
8. ATL - Smith E
9. CHI - Witherspoon CB
10. PHI - Gonzalez CB
There will be a run on OL in the middle & end of 1st round, so Cardinals have to take one early.
Can’t fix both lines in one fell swoop, so you follow the money. Murray’s money. Too many on this board need to come to grips that Beachum is old & below average. And Hump won’t be around next year. And can we really trust Jones at RT? With the run on OL that we will see starting after 10, I would be shocked if we don’t go OL with our 1st pick. The only way we don’t is if we’re forced to pick at 3. And if Anderson goes 2, then teams will make that trade down very easy for the Cardinals. Depending on far down we trade, our pick will be Johnson or Skoronski.Just think that it will be easier to go DL in the first and OL in the second. Some might think we can do better than Hump, Jones and Beachum at OT. But I'm pretty sure that our OT's are much better than what we have on our DL. Hence, DL/Edge are greater needs. JMO.
Gannon definitely does not think that. Just look at what he did with the Eagles. He convinced them to fix the offense first & that he would coach the defense up as best he could. They had a below average defense that first year, but their OL & running game still landed them in the playoffs after like a 1-4 start. It was in year 2 (last year) that they built up the D to be one of the best in the NFL.Does Gannon think we can win with a decent Defense and a mediocre Offense?
Will there really be a run on OL dudes in the first round?
Can we get enough trade picks to shore up both the OL and DL?
I guess the answer to these will determine what we do with whatever Round 1 pick we get.
Philly wants Bijan they let sanders go and he said he’s met and talked with them the most.Ok, here we go:
1. CAR - Young QB
2. HOU - Anderson E
3. LVR - Stroud
4. IN - Levis QB
5. SEA - Wilson DL
6. DET - Carter DL
7. AZ - Johnson OL
8. ATL - Smith E
9. CHI - Witherspoon CB
10. PHI - Gonzalez CB

Yep. That could happen. Not sold they’ll do that though. I expect them to take the Alabama RB with their 30th pick. Eagles secondary is getting old & they lost a CB in FA. Gonzalez might be too good to pass on. Eagles don’t have Gannon there to coach up average CB’s anymore. Now, they actually need to draft real talent at CB.Philly wants Bijan they let sanders go and he said he’s met and talked with them the most.
He’s a generational RB he’s going top 10
Will Anderson is such a great kid, who came from a wonderful family & upbringing. If he’s there at 3, you have to take this kid. I just don’t see the Texans passing on himIndy looks to move up.
We are at 4 and we pass on Anderson.
That seems ridiculous.
If Hump isn't around next year I would expect Jones would be taking his place. The position he played in college. The leaves a need for RT next year of course & probably this year as well if Beach can't stay healthy. Can’t fix both lines in one fell swoop, so you follow the money. Murray’s money. Too many on this board need to come to grips that Beachum is old & below average. And Hump won’t be around next year. And can we really trust Jones at RT? Could be 3.I don't think that many in the top 10.
People often think there will be a bunch and when it hits there's often few in the top 10 on the night.
This draft is the Wild West!Could be 3.
Half of those Cards ones were from mexc_hide_links_from_guests_guests_error_hide_media
1-Young
2-Anderson
3-Wilson
4-Levis
5-Richsrdson
6-Stroud
7-Paris Johnson
8-Bijan Robinson
9-Skoronski
10-Carter
I'm starting to get that gut feeling as well.I'm beginning to think more and more that Paris Johnson will be the pick (hopefully not at #3, but it's not out of the realm of possibility).
I'm starting to think it might be someone no one has mentioned before. A surprising out of the blue pick.I'm starting to get that gut feeling as well.
