While I think he can achieve all those times/measurements, I'm skeptical of this. I'll wait till the actuall combine to see if he really reaches those numbers. This could be just his agent or API (if he's training there) getting the Calvin Johnson PR campaign going.

All that being said, I agree that he's the #1 prospect in this years draft and he'll be a great WR in the NFL. Just look at what he did in college with possibly the worst passing QB in the country (Reggie Ball). The guys a physical freak and a good dude

As good as this guy may be the WR position is our strongest position. We probably had the best 3 wideouts on any one team in the NFL. Do we take another with some position of need who is very good is also available? If he is all this hot he will never see he number 5 slot. How does Fitz and Boldin take this if we were to draft this guy? They probably both want more touches as it is. I think if we were to draft him that either Boldin or Fitz would want out of here whenever the opportunity arrives if he is all that good.

I still see Anderson projected on some draft boards as a Cardinal. We sure could do worse. I doubt anyone knows how our coaches feel about what the biggest need is vs what is available. I did read Whiz say we need a strong running game. Gleam from that what ever you will. I have not read anything from our defensive coaches as to their take. Many people think Defense wins superbowls. Certainly the Colts defense stood tall against the Bears and the Bears got to the superbowl largely on defense.

it is conceivable that he could be there at five. I dont want to get my hopes up but damn he is good.

If he is there at 5, we had better be working the phone for a trade.

Then, when you watch him play, why can't he gain separation from slower players?

Really? I have seen 5 games or so and hadn't seen him have trouble with separation. Now, I did notice that he tends to "turn it up a notch" against better opponants and when on a bigger stage, but never any concerns about seperations.

That being said, when a "fast" player has trouble doing this it usually means he lacks great quickness. But, remember Fitzgerald had some people who said the same thing about him. A guy that big doesn't always need 5 yards between him and the defender.

Guy is a badass, flat out.

He is the best WR prospect to come out of college in years. Ga Tech used him on fly patterns, screens, crossing patterns, everything. And keep in mind he had Reggie Ball throwing to him.

I would love to have him.

Do you think the Raiders (Al Davis) will end up falling in love with this guy?
