Bolt it, cast it, play. DRC and Reggie Wells both did it this year. We need him, Calais is an excellent lineman.

this injury honestly bothers me the most out of all three of them. without calais, we can pretty much count on constant double teams on dockett, and little to no pass rush.

Agreed. Very important, one of GB's biggest issues in the past has been their O-line, Cards need pressure (calais). If Cards get pressure on AR game is over...I think hell play, i think everyone will play. Cards will be just fine..

What a disaster, 3 critical starters who certainly won't be near 100% for the playoffs. Starting to feel iffy about this one...

Here's the Way the Sitting/Not Sitting Starters Works...

If you play 'em, no one gets hurt and you win the next game, you're a genius.

If you play 'em, guys get hurt and you lose the next game, you're an idiot.

If you don't play 'em and don't win the next game, you're still an idiot.

If you don't play 'em and you win the next game, Genius City.

That's just the way it is.

Regarding Cardinal injury prognostications - during this past season, there have been injured guys - who were supposed to be ready for the next game - who didn't play. There are other guys ruled "doubtful" who have shown up and played well. You just never know.

I don't think (at least in our case) it's because coaches lie, but rather that, medically, things are a lot more uncertain than anyone is willing to let on. (We won't be sure about who'll suit up Sunday until each guy either does or doesn't).

Yeah the other thing is Rodgers is a bit undersized at QB and has had some issues in his career with passes batted down, something Campbell does very well. It'd sure be nice to have CC out there on Sunday.

We need to deal with the reality of the situation. Even if Boldin & CC play, they will be a mere shell of themselves. Other guys will have to step it up. Breaston & Doucet are quite capable of having great games. Alan Branch just may answer the bell! Injuries in the NFL are like death & taxes.
