if BA tries to get AP to adapt to his offense, this move is not a fit. However, if BA allows AP the chance to tweak the offense in such as way as to accentuate his strengths

Appreciate the thoughts Mitch, but you realize you are talking about Bruce "don't change for no one" Arians, right?

Let's see it!

Isn't it BA who says I'm not changing the offense? Hmmm

And he will not change his offense, he going to sit Peterson down and out of a list of Arians plays is going to ask him to choose one or maybe two if he is a good boy lol

This false narrative is pretty silly. For example:
With Peterson, "we'll tailor it, like we always do, to the back," Arians said.

hes not "changing his offense" he is tailoring it to his players. You guys seem to forget that when he came here he said an RBs job isnt to catch a ball but now the offense is built around pass catching RBs

The other significant aspect about having AP as the lead RB is that for him to be effective he needs to carry the ball 20+ times...that's when he starts to wear a defense out. The questions that need to be answered are: (a) can he still carry the rock 20+ times a game? and (b) will BA be patient enough to give him 20+ carries? (assuming BA caters the running plays to AP's strengths---which is no given, but he did say he was going to)

B. Yes. If for no other reason, then to find the answer to your first question. Another plus to run it 20+ times, is CP taking fewer hits.

Teams actually "scheming" for this AP and this OL quite possibly is one of the funniest assumptions people have come to on this board in a long long time....

There is not a single defensive coordinator in the entire league shaking in their boots worrying about having to stop AP when they play the cardinals lol

Right? They'll use 4 guys instead of 3
