They'll need to continue to outplay or at least stay even with whatever the Lakers throw out there against them.

The Laker reserves will have something to prove over there now as well.

Ours will have to meet the challenge.

Odom is the biggest threat off their bench. I think the Suns bench will be much more confident than the first two games. They came through in pivotal games in the previous series. their house cant be any louder than Portland's or SA's.

Can they? Absolutely.

Will they? I have confidence in Dragic, Amundson, and Dudley.

No confidence in Frye and Barbosa.

I said no. So far, only Dudley showed up in LA at all when he went 5 for 5 at one point from the free throw line. He didn't have a great defensive game though.

I sure as hell hope I am wrong though.

I'm more concerned with the Lakers' role guys hitting everything than I am with the Suns' bench stepping up.

When barbosa is playing well I feel like hes not affected by playing on the road as much as some of the other guys. It would be HUGE if he had a game similar to game 4.

I am more concerned with Amare. Can he go on the road, into LA and have that chip on his shoulder and determination to take over the game in Kobe's own house? Will he be able to run over Pau at will? If he can/does, then we've got a great chance to take this thing. If he retreats back to the Amare of games 1 & 2 on the road, then it's over (still).

I disagree. I thought the only guys who played well in Game 1 were Barbs and Goran.

The incredible thing is we still HAVEN'T seen the a complete game from this team. Nash, Amare, J Rich were all pedestrian last night while the bench went nuts and the opposite was true in Game 3. If they put it all together in Game 5, not only do we have a great shot to win that game, but the Lakers will have to play their absolute best to beat us.

This... Games 5, 6, 7... this is where it gets REALLY good!

I voted "yes" but in reality, the bench does not need to "take over" for Suns to win the game. The first three games, Frye was beyond "bad". It was probably one of the worst performances in NBA history going 1/20??

All we need is bench playing better than Laker's bench and Suns would have a chance to steal one and of course Amare needs to go back to game 3 form. Nash needs to play like nothing is wrong with his nose.

This!

Barbosa doesn't seem to be affected by home or road games. He just switches on and off at random times.

I don't expect them to be quite up to their level of game 4 but I think they'll be a positive factor. We're going to need one road game where the first and second units both get it going - that really hasn't happened yet this series. Thats what it will take to win a game in LA.

exactly. we will have the play our best game of the season in Game 5 to win that sucker. The Lakers have been NASTY at home, especially against us the last three years. Gotta break on through to the other side!!!

We all know that Barbosa is capable of tearing up that creepy arena.

I don't really care that much whether its the Magic or Celts but the thought of two teams that were considered 'dead' a few days ago both making it to the finals is just too appealing.

We also get home court against the Celts but not the Magic... can't hurt. That holds for the Lakers, too.

if the bench can muster the same level of performance they did on the road against the Spurs, it should be very entertaining to see the Lakers go down that way

the bench suffered in the first two games with Frye. not only was he scared offensively, but that huge burden also distracted him from doing good defense to his best ability. so, no matter how cold Frye might be, the bench's defense will be there for us to stay in the game.
