i have to admit i dont follow TO,S Carree is he done? when he was at the top of his game he was very physical like Q to go along with the finesse of fitz

if not is there a free agent receiver out there you would trade Q for?

we have probably the most important off seaseon this year we got to do something with leinert even if kurt takes us to the promised land or not

he deserves a shot to lead this team imo, you can only learn so much riding the pine and studying film, running the scout team is helpful but even our coaching staff said they went with kurt only by the slimmest of margins

then theres edge which seems to his being cut after our run already a foregone conclusion and using the money to cut a new deal for dansby

whatever happens i think this team is going to have a very different look next year

we better get a sleeper running back in the draft cause i think hightower proved he's not ready to be an every down back

the front office and coaching staff if we can keep them together have a challenge ahead of them like they have never faced, haley and grimm are gonna be hot prospects

it would be a miracle but we have to become consistent contenders for years and its gonna take some hard choices and wheeling and backroom dealing to pull this off

but we have waited longer than any other franchise for this kind of success and i want more

i want years of playoff appearances and holding my head high not feeling like kicking the dog every sunday

go cards go all the way for a long long time

I definitely would not trade Q for T.O. and picks. I think T.O. can still play, but his hissy fits do nothing for team morale. I can't see him being happy with Fitz getting tds if he isn't.

Way too risky.

Not a chance in hell they would consider Owens in a million years. He may not even be able to get a job if he gets cut again. Blowing up 3 locker rooms in a row? Who will let him make it four?

I don't want Owens under any circumstances, he has Oakland Raider written all over him.

He needs to go back to the 49ers. Let Singletary try to straighten him out, and let the Cards benefit when he can't...

1. Yes, T.O. can still play.

2. HELL no. I wouldn't even do that on Madden.

Right, so you don't trade what we have going away. You build on it. ;)

All we need is a continued commitment from ownership and management. When good football decisions conflict with good business decisions, you need someone to place winning ahead of profit.

Once you are committed to winning, winning will catch on. Players will want to stay here. Free agents will want to play here. And once you develop that culture of winning, you will make money from it.

Just look at how much extra profit this franchise is going to reap from the experience this year of going to the NFC title game and possibly the Superbowl. Tickets, merchandise, and other marketing opportunities caused by national publicity of the team are a result of winning. The Cards will likely get a lot more exposure next season. Expect a Sunday night game or two. All of it is because of winning, but is also great for business.

We don't need T.O. to win. We need a commitment to continue the course that got us here. I feel confident that we now have that commitment, and I believe the new stadium was the turning point.

These are not the same old Cardinals. Those Cards are gone for good!

They aren't going to trade him. Salary cap considerations are a bitch after a big bonus just last year.

Besides, why on earth would you want him?

I'd rather with another team for another player/draft picks. TO can still bring it, but he is right at the end of his rope. We don't need another superstar WR to come in and fill Q's shoes. That is why we gave Fitz the mega-deal. Owens would come in here, demand the ball, and start tearing apart the team chemistry we have built. We will be just fine with Fitz, Breaston, Doucet and Urban. Do not forget how similar in style Doucet is to Q. They are both physical, slot receivers who will go over the middle.

Like I said, we don't need another superstar receiver. What we need is a young breakaway threat at RB. If we can find that....man we will be unstopable!

Reasons why I don't want TO:

1. Lead the league in drops.
2. His acceleration has dropped considerably.
3. Far too expensive.
4. Cancerous in the locker room.

Send him to the Raiders where all the big name FAs underpreform.

If we didn't have to give up anyone...

AND...

he played for free

AND...

Both Q and Fitz went out with career ending injuries

AND...

he made it clear all he ever wanted was to be a Cardinal

I wouldn't take him, period. He's cancer

TO is no longer elite, but is a decent #1 imho. But no way no how would I ever trade for him, not even a 7th round pick, and I mean that. He can't hold Quans jock, not as a player or a man.

I can't stand TO's attitude, and he would be probably the 1 player that'd make me drive down to the facility and protest. Gross, you're just making me say Ewww right now.

NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

TO is the opposite of We Do This Together. A Cancer. Has mental issues. Can't help but be an A$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

To summarize: I don't think it would be a good idea.
