It didn't matter. If you don't win 18-49 demo, it's like no one's watching it. It pulled a 1.1 in that demo. That's awful for an hour-long Monday news-lead-in drama. CBS is KILLING in that demo with their comedies, and ABC and Fox are neck and neck for 2nd. NBC is so far behind, they had no choice but to scrap much of the lineup and start from scratch. They could move it to where that number might be more forgiving, but it still wouldn't compare to, say, Grimm, which pulls a 1.6 in that demo on a Friday night ... when that age group isn't traditionally watching TV.

The Voice, Fear Factor, Biggest, Loser, Celebrity Apprentice all pull 2s or better in that demo. The Voice actually runs in the 5s in the 18-49.

NBC is desperately attempting to improve in that audience with their scripted shows, where only The Office and Smash run in the 2s. For example, Community is on the bubble because its numbers in that demo (1.6) are on the bubble for a sit-com. It needed about a .3 jump to get a vote of full confidence. Basically, that would be about a 65 percent increase in overall audience. However, if Community pulls that same number on a Friday night, it will get renewed as long as it does.

If the new NBC sitcoms look like CBS trash, it's because they're modeled on all the CBS sitcoms that are doing well ... bad replicas. In fact, I'd argue CBS is driving a return to the 30-minute sit-com format.

Community going to Friday nights as well BTW.

Hopefully not at 8pm CST. If so that means it conflicts with Supernatural (hoping it gets renewed) and Fringe. Would hate not to be able to watch Community.

I read that Supernatural has been renewed but moving to Wednesday.

I'm sorry to hear about "Harry's Law." There is so much garbage on TV, I guess I will just watch Discovery or the History Channel all the time. "Suits" is my current favorite TV series.

I really got into The Firm, but it took awhile.

Also, Flashpoint has been going for 5 years, and I read that the 2013 season is being produced and will be the final season, so this list seems a tad wrong -- I have to say, I love Flashpoint and will miss it.

I didn't see Southland on the list, but I think it's gone. Good show.
