Draft picks are going to be gold this year.

I would be for trading down from #16 if Surtain or Farley are gone. I wanted Wyatt or Humphrey but looks like they may be available in second so if we can get extra second then go for it.

Yes, it's accurate, and we can clear another 10-15 million pretty easily by cutting kenard and Alford and giving Chandler a new contract.

Kennard and Alford are easy -- totally the Cards choice

Hump is easy too --

Chandler less so

you can also look to either extending or redoing both C. Jones and D.J. Humphries contracts.

Possible cap recapture for Jones is 9.32 m
Possible cap recapture for Humphries is 7.1 or more.

Not sure Humphries is doing that unless it’s a massive extension. He now has security and two years of consistent high level play under his belt.

A guy entering his twilight like CJ sure.

I think they can basically make part of Humphries salary a bonus therefore extending his cap hit through the end of the contract. I don't see him extending but redoing/restructuring his contract wouldn't be far fetched.

Especially if it guarantees more money and they cut a check today.
