Wow, I didn't realize Hambrick was so out of shape he needed someone to pull him up and down the field!

To heck with the caption.

Am I wrong or isnt there supposed to be tension in that band when this drill is being done?

Your right Shane, but the tension causes the rope to "jump-rope" up and down. Especially if the guy in front is not running fast, or the guy in back is running too fast.

But Hambone does look beat and out of wind.

I always tyhought the guy in the rear was supposed to be applying tension. It seems as though lazy azz Hambone is just running with him. Could be decieving though.
