Well, I got my voice back to 100% Wednesday night, so I know I brought my a game. I think we need to police our sections better for people cheering on Offense. A nice "Hey ****, we have the ball!" should work nicely.

It's hard to make out voices from too far away, but I only heard myself and a guy behind me joining in. Meanwhile about 15 in my section were doing some choreographed thing pointing their arms four times which sounded nice, but would be really tough to spread very far.

I started in my area on the very first one and everyone looked at me real funny, but as the game went on more and more people picked up on it, so the people around me by the 4th quarter were joining in instead of giving me the wierd looks.

LD: Right now it is good to have a home field advantage, but as far as the fans being loud, they are not loud enough. I am asking the fans right now to get much louder this season, not on just third downs or after a big offensive play, you guys need to be loud on every single play."

I am asking LD RIGHT NOW TO GET MUCH BETTER THIS SEASON, not just when he feels like it or when he's being watched, BUT YOU NEED TO WORK YOUR A$$ OFF EVERY SINGLE PLAY!

Sorry to all you LD homers out here, but this guy has showed me nothing, with the exception of once and a while. I hope he can pad his resume enough to attract another team next year and go milk it there...

Well I just watched the replay again last night and Leonard Davis did his job except for a false start. I'm not sure what game you were watching but the guy he was blocking rarely was in on the play.

I know what you are talking about. I still sound like one of those 80 year old women who have smoked all of their lives.

Like I said, I was half-a-fan during that game because I had to save my voice for a Monday interview. Took me four quarters to lose my voice and only enough that I had it back the next day.

I'm not proud of it. I look forward to the Rams game, murderer chants, and losing my speaking voice soon after kickoff. That's a normal D-Dogg game...unable to speak normally until the following sunday.

I'm a little bit horse too. But that really isn't appropriate to talk about on the Internets.

What section ar you in LLoydian?
Section 111, Row 25, Seat 4. I liked the chant (couldn't make the first part out, but the "...move the chains, move the chains, move the chains..." part was clear), but the more people who get involved, the more muddled that long a chant will get.

We only scored 34 points. Davis stuffed whatever the 49ers threw at him.

Hope he doesn't block worth a damn next week.

The Cards O-line is like what Dilfer was to the Ravens when they won the SuperBowl. If Cards do anything this year, everyone will mention and they did that despite that Horrid O-line. Last weeks O-line was not exactly stellar or anything, Cards won and everything and had 34 but it wasn't exacly because of the great line play

People don't know anything about offensive linemen. If the Cards do anything this year people will talk about what a huge improvement the Oline made. Get 11 wins and all of a sudden there's a couple of pro-bowl candidates on that line even if all the wins were like last Sunday's.

Try watching Leonard play sometime you might see something. If every player on the team dominated his opponents like BIGG did Sunday the score would have been 52-0.

Not only do some of our fans not know how to cheer they don't even recognize our best players.

Yeah, I watched him play sunday, and yes, I concur, he did play better than many games of the previous 5 seasons. Noticed, my comment alluded to the fact that he isnt the one hundread percenter he is calling everyone else out for. If big dominated his opponets like he did sunday, our record would have probably faired a little better the past 5 seasons as well. If big put out week in and week out, down in and down out, we would've/would be a better team, and he would have made 2-3 trips to hawaii. If big put out routinely, as you say he does, he would'nt be waiting to be extended in the 11th hour of his contract. Also note, I didnt say he never does, I think I said something to the effect that only does he when someone is looking, as is the case right now. The guy has just been one big batch of potential since he has been here.

And yes, I cheer my A$$ off, but sorry if I do not share the belief that he is supposedly one of our best players...

This is the first time the Cards have had more than a handful of fans since well before BIGG arrived in Phoenix. It is probably the first time he has had any decent coaching in his entire life. I'm not at all surprised he played a great game.

As for the timing of the extension well lets just say that I don't see anything other than business as usual.

And there isn't any "supposedly" to him.

If every offensive lineman did their job as often as Davis, we would not be talking about the o-line being the weak link.
Man, we won the game. We sold the place out. We have a player reaching out to the fans and we have fans bitching about it? What gives?
Davis wasn't blasting the fans. He was just asking us for our support.
The fans CAN play a big role and I might add, I believe they will. Obviously there are many new(rookie) fans in attendance and they need to learn their part.
As far as cheering like a raging lunatic thruout the game, that isn't really neccessary.
On offense, sit quietly like you are trying to here Warners every word. Then you can explode as the play succeeds.
On defense, be extremely loud on the first possession, any time they are pinned down near their own goal line, any 3rd down situation and EVERY PLAY INSIDE THE RED ZONE.
If fans can't understand this, they are either new or don't belong there.
