While we wait for some real news (Dansby, AW, Draft) forgive me for a little vanity. Here are some pictures of the banners I will be displaying during the 2009 season. For my old friends, you will find me tailgating in the same spot as last year in East Preferred. Anyone else that wants to stop by can recognize me by my game face and these unique banners. I can't imagine meeting as many great fans and making as many friends as last year, but you never know.

OK, I'll confess: I made them from one of the banners that was hanging from the Air Traffic Control Tower at Sky Harbor. The original was 8'x30', way too big for me to do anything with. The Cardinals donated the banners at the request of the air traffic controllers. (Way to go Cards Organization!) The Air Traffic Controllers' Union, NATCA, paid for the hardware to hang them and then they were auctioned off. All proceeds are going to Cardinals' Charities.

That setup is super sweet. I am in East Lot, but usually park on the aisle between East and East Preferred since some of the people we hang with park in East Preferred. Will have to get over and see that in person.
I dont know if its the SuperBowl logo in the pics and how under represented we were in the SB, or the fact Im listening to Memph Bleek's "Mind Right (Ready For War)", or maybe both.. But Im ready to bust open on all opposing fans this season.. Let the new season begin! We gonna make em pay.. Unfinished Business...
I was in the upper level on the Steelers' sideline. It was 100 Steelers' fans to 1 Carddan. I will not forget that and I will not surrender. This year is not about dreams, it is about "Unfinished Business"- the official Carddan slogan for 2009!

I think the only time we met was the send-off to Seattle last year. I didn't have my game-face on for that. Do you think you would recognize me? Look for the banners along the sidewalk in from East Preferred.
I think I would recognize you more with your game day face than without it, lol. I remember that you had to introduce yourself at the send off.

Rats, you did come up with it before me. :notworthy Thanks for sharing, it is a great slogan/motto for this season and I will probably use it in a few signs.

Funny story that you and Gee's posts made me remember. Was in Anaheim at the end of February for my birthday (free Disneyland)! Was having breakfast and a family of about six sitting close by was talking. The kids were talking and jazzed about the Cards. The adults were talking about the Chiefs, which is kind of ironic now in hindsight. Anyway, the dad/main dude was chatting away and he asked what team me and my friends with me were a fan of. We told him the Cards. And, as if it was almost an automated response, he said "I'm sorry to hear that." I said, "Don't be pal. We went to and almost won the Super Bowl three weeks ago. How'd your Chefs do this year?"
He was speechless after that.
And it felt DAMNED GOOD. Hey, world. You don't have the Arizona Cardinals to push around anymore.
