Yeah! I'm one of the Kool-aiders. I freely admit to that... BUT...MY GOD...have we so quickly forgotten ALL the pain & disappointment we have endured as Cardinal fans?? For me, 42+ years! For some on here...EVEN LONGER!! I read "comments" like...WE shouldn't EVEN be shown on National TV ANYMORE!! Yeah, the Colts & 49'ers games we're gut-wrenching,:bang: BUT...Would you also give-up the "sweetness" of beating the Giants in N.Y. or thrashing the supposedly "Super Bowl-bound" Vikings at home?? :D Do you want to go back to NOT even being news-worthy?? This just in...The Cardinals are STILL in the NFL!! WHY?? WE HAVE NO IDEA!!

Sure, there'll always be reasons to grumble. Some justified. I'm just saying I REFUSE to be CHEATED of the pleasure of having a "decent", watchable, football team. It's like Christmas. I see so MANY people moping around complaining about this & that. Hey! I'm BROKE as a church-mouse BUT I WILL NOT GIVE UP the opportunity to CELEBRATE!! :D

I am ENJOYING MY CARDINALS!! GOOD! BAD!! WHATEVER! Last I knew we were in 1st place with a 2-game lead and the play-offs a VERY real possibility. Tell me this is a HORRIBLE situation to be in!

GO CARDS!! :D

NSDF, I really appreciate the optimism you have towards the Cardinals. It's easy to forget that not so long ago we would be discussing top 10 draft picks this time of year!

Yes, the game in San Francisco sucked, and sucked badly, but it's over. But, we all need to hope the team moves on better than some members of this board.

 agreed, we are still going to make the playoffs... still healthy and still the same team that beat the vikings.

Like NSDN is I also have followed this team for 42+ years so I am a pretty happy guy. We are winning, we are in first place and we will in all probability go to the playoffs.

For so many years all we wanted was a competitive team that made playoffs, we have that.

I really think we're going to crush the lions, and that will help us forget about the SF game.

We'll win the division, and get a home playoff game. That achieving a legitimate NFL season goal.

Everything's cool, but we better keep an eye on the niners.

Ive followed the Cards for 23 year so I'm a young she-pup compared to you two, but I'm a reformed Pittsburgh fan and have raised another rabid Cards fan along with me!! NSD, I always gain power when reading what you write, thank you very much. As my Avatar puts it, "Vincere aut Mori"

NSDF, after 42 years for me, hold habits are hard to break. The ranting and raving that I have done for so long is now second nature. It is a lot more fun though when they are winning, and I do enjoy it a lot more. I really am proud of this team, even though my wife wonders how (for a man that usually doesn't cuss) I can sprew forth such profanity at the tv. It's like I can't live with them but I sure and the hell can't live without them.:)

oh...the pain of 1984

I'm a long time Cardinal fan and I believe that was the year we were 7-4 and then just nose dived out of the playoffs with a painful do or die game in Washington. That is hard to erase from my heart and mind but I have a strong feeling the Cards will win this week and the Niners will lose.
