Short area yes, but his top speed has always been poor. Been frustrating a number of times when he should have housed a run only to get caught by multiple backs.

I've never been impressed with Edmond's speed. He's quick rather than fast, and definitely lacks long speed. I don't remember seeing him run away from people very often as opposed to making them miss.

This, it's all about football speed and what happens on the field. The combine has its use if a guy comes in and runs a 4.8 forty but I am not dicing a selection between a 'in shorts' 4.2 or 4.4... watch the tape, don't be Al Davis because this is football and not the Olympics

If Akeem Hicks can pass the physical I roll the dice on him, especially if he’ll play for the vet minimum.

Hicks is a beast, but it’s a risk. I doubt he will play for vet minimum. Maybe with some big incentives.
