How many have you seen? Or if it is easier missed. I think that because of Sports Bars, Directv, and NFL Game Rewind I have seen almost every game either live, on tv or in replay the Cards have played since Gene Stallings was HC.
At one time I was over 300 games in a row.

I even cut short a dove hunting trip to go to a bar and watch the Cards 1982 "playoff" game vs Green Bay.

Took some serious grief about leaving the family get together to go watch the Cards play on Thanksgiving and Christmas weekends. :D

How about the rest of you?

I missed a ton of games while I was traveling hippie (1997-2008), internet wasn't anything like it is now. I didn't even have a lease on an apartment or house during that whole stretch. But I always went when I was in town, or watched when it wasn't blacked out. :D

I missed a ton of games from '99-2005 when my wife and I moved to South Carolina. Born here in '69 and saw every game from when they got here until we moved. Haven't missed a game since we got back but those early 2000's were tough. Saw a lot of Tampa. A LOT of Tampa.

I have been lucky I've seen them all. I think we've been very lucky. Traveled with the team to LA, San Diego, New Orleans, and the 1998 playoff game. The Cards have been our team, good ,bad, real bad. Thank you Cardinals.

Since the Cardinals moved to Arizona, the only game I know for sure I missed was the Atlanta Falcons game at the end of Plummer's rookie season. I had a temp of 103 so I stayed home and listened to the radio broadcast.

Plummer engineered two late scoring drives to win that game. I remember being pissed off that I wasn't there.

Nothing resounding for me. I was young when I lived in AZ and couldn't afford tickets while I was in college. Spent a ton of time watching on TV and listening on the radio.

Since they moved to AZ, I've attended at least one game per season in person. In 2008, I used my company credit card to take clients to 4 games. Then, I had season tickets from 2009-2010 before moving back to So Cal. I've seen the Cards play in San Diego and in Tampa Bay twice (Superbowl and against the Bucs). I'll be going to see them in preseason in San Diego this year and hopefully in Dallas in November.

I'd say I've attended about 50 games in person.

I can't remember missing any and now, if we go for a weekend getaway, it always involves a Cards game live.

The best story I've heard lately is Wisconsin's. He was on a cruise(we were supposed to go but, in the end, couldn't) and before he booked his rooms, he made sure the ship had Sunday Ticket available. I'm sure there's nothing quite like floating in the Mediterranean, having some cocktails, and watching the Cards.

Have had season tix since 2001 and have missed 3-4 games since that time... Have probably missed another 3-4 away games since then as well... So, I have missed less than 10 games since 2001...

I get really stressed out when watching games. I am always convinced they will blow it. They usually do.

Missed a ton of games in the late 70's and 80's, I only had a black and white TV with tin foil for antenna.
I used to only watch Monday night football for the 20 second recap clip Howard Cosell would do on the Redbirds during the half time show.

Back in the old AOL Cards Corner days, I would watch on that first hideous version of gamecast... ye gads that was turrible.

When Sirius radio came around I would sit in my truck in the garage and listen.

Finally, Directv!!! Now I Tivo them all and watch them during preseason.

I come to Phx for couple games a year now too.

the derek anderson season I recorded and then fast forwarded through offense and watched the defense. Same with the max hall season. Does that count as watching games? Outside of those two years i have seen every second of every game since the stadium opened and caught everything i could before that but it wasnt always on tv.

Yessir. That counts. So does watching the condensed replays on NFL Game rewind or the NFL network. You get extra points if you stayed up until 3AM to watch an NFL network replay, which seemed to be the only time we were ever on. :koolaid:

I liked watching the Max Hall games and betting with my son on the over/under on how long before Max got knocked out.

A couple of cool thing about going to sports bars every week to watch the games: One year Gene Stallings daughter and her husband would be at the local bar to watch the games when her dad was HC. We'd be the only Cardinal fans there.

I also got a lot of free beer from fans of the teams we were playing because they felt sorry for me. Like the 1989 Eagles game we lost 17-5. 5 points! The Eagles fans bought me a lot of beer that day.

The only one I've missed since the new stadium is the Rams game on Thursday night when they killed Kolb. I was driving to Vegas then & listened on the radio. I turned it off after the 13th or so sack. Before that I would listen on the radio for the blacked out games that I couldn't go to at SDS.

I cannot remember the last Cardinals game I missed since I been buying the NFL ticket.

I don't think any to be honest.

That 2000 season was a tough one to sit through tho.

We have been gluttons for punishment haven't we.

By the way there is no deduction for watching on tv and having left mid way through a 3rd quarter to go mow the grass or clean out the garage. :p

Vs ruining a day of disneyworld for the family to sit in a bar and watch the game I purchased the rewind service last season for the TB game.

I had to stay up until after SNF was over before it would post. I want to say it was at least midnight. I got up at 6am and walked miles upon miles all over disneyworld but still eeked out the replay of the game before going to bed so i could turn my phone back on without spoiling the result.

I'm not sure how many games I've watched consecutively, but I've been to every home game since the 2004 season. 102 in a row. I don't count the Mexico City game as a home game. Aside from that, I've done everything I could to go to games.

Back in my retail days during the 04 and 05 seasons, I would have to work in the morning, take a very long lunch break to go to games, then come back and work the night shift during the Christmas season.

I found out the morning of the Max Hall vs Saints game that my grandpa died, but I skipped going to my grandma's house where my family was until after the game (probably a little shameful, but my Grandpa was a big Cardinals fan and would have understood).

Man, have we done some crazy things to watch Cardinal football but nothing as crazy as some fine woman I know who quit her job, packed up her things and moved to Phoenix from a Mid Atlantic State just to be able to go to Cardinal football games.

At Sun Devil Stadium!

I have either watched or been to every game since 1992.

So 22 years ~ 352 regular season games at least and I'm sure there were a bunch in 1991. So probably in the neighborhood of 360 games in a row for me.

And people try to tell us we're just dumb posters who don't know anything about the Cardinals. :D

That was my bar-mitzvah weekend. Nothing like celebrating becoming a man like watching Tupa throw a six-pack of picks in one of the ugliest games I've ever witnessed in person.

Well I have not missed a down of cardinal football since 1988. So that was a must and it was the game against Indy last year, so glad I didn't miss it.

A few years ago when we were being man handled at Minnesota I walked out of the stadium with 4 minutes to go, but ended up watching most of it on TV at the consession stand. So I missed a couple of plays, that was how frustrated I was at that game. Bucky was at that game as well, so I ma sure he felt the same way.
