A cardinal fan from Omaha called in asking about what he can expect from the team this year. They (Steve Cohen & Gil Brandt) thought that if the Cardinals win 6 games, DG should be considered for the coach of the year. They weren't degrading, just feeling there is a lot of turn around this year in the team. Both of them were rooting for KVB to return from injury as they both said they felt he was going to be a great player before he suffered his injuries. Noted that if other players play at 110% then Kyle plays at 190%.

Also noted that Dennis Green and about 10 other NFL coaches have agreed to come on Sirius every week of the preaseason and season.

Welcome aboard.

I'm from Omaha, but it wasn't me!
There's another dude from Omaha on here as well I believe.

So obviously I'm a huge KVB homer...

Man I think KVB can be a serviceable DE. He certainly looked like he was going to be a good football player that rookie year. I think if he plays 16 games he can get 5 sacks.

I was a member here earlier, but either my name was lost, or I just didnt remember my user name. I am from Omaha as well, but was not the caller. I am a Cardinal fan because two former HS teammates play for the Cardinals. I usually just lurk, however, since most of the boards I view seem to become too embroiled in the "this view" vs "that view" mentality. There are far too many people whose only goal by posting on a board is to prove they are right and everyone else is wrong, even when it's a simple opinion. Kinda takes the fun out of posting I guess.

Man, if he could go a whole season, he'll get five sacks.

LeVar Woods came out of Iowa
Both came out of Iowa. Levar went to UofI, and Kyle went to UNL. They both prepped in the far NW corner of Iowa at West Lyon, where I went to HS as well.
