"Despite playing fullback, Phillip Doolin eclipsed the
1,000-yard receiving mark last year at Arkansas
Pine-Bluff with 46 receptions for 1,021 yards for an
eye-popping 22-yard average with 11 touchdowns. In
addition, he authored a 92-yard pass reception for a
touchdown and 72-yard kickoff return."

Watching all of those games on the ESPN-College Game day sat. had a purpose afterall. I've seen this guy play twice. At his level he looked all-world. Very, very hard runner once he has the ball. Reminds me a little of Shipp.

I'd really like to see what it's like on the field, because I don't put much stock in workout numbers...

I agree,I see enough of him here in the Box,they seem to love to rerun his 99 yrd interception return against the Devils over and over again during football season.

Interesting collection of UDFA talent. We were warned in advance "not to expect any Damian Andersons. And I think they got that right.

What struck me is that, unlike prior years when they looked for a few diamonds in the rough (like Shipp, Wakefield and Ronnie-Mac) to actually compete to become starters, the Cards seemed instead, to be going after role players to fit specific niches -

- A pass receiving FB

A pass catching TE

- A 315 noseguard type who can occupy space and occasionally get into the enemy backfield

- Special teams gunners and return guys who double at other positions

The only thing that I thought was strange was the number of WR's we're bringing into camp (maybe more if Robinson signs with us). The odds of any of our UDFA receivers sticking have to be extremely remote.

Final point regarding the punter - You need 2 to serve an 80 man roster. As soon as the roster thins down at camp, the dude will be departing with a severance check and a bag full of memories.

Good job! You might want to throw in former Cardinal Ernest Dye as well. Brandon Bennett is a preseason All-Pro every year for Cincinatti, and I've always wanted to see him start a game.

Mr.Boldin

To Mr. Boldin,
Where did you get that picture of Chuck Cecil!!!
He is my favorite player of all time!!! You remember when he hit that TE from Washington (Middleton I think) and he blew the guys helmet off his head. BUT all four buttons on the helmet were still on!!! That was an awesome hit.
I wish he was still on the team!

Peace and Go Cards

I don't know cause I wouldn't drink it. I root for the Cardinals cause I don't like the Giants, Jets, and especially the Eagles. The Cards just rule. I like Tillman, Cecil, and other who have pasted through the system.
Right now I like watching Shipp (NJ native by the way) run and Big block for him.
Peace Go Cards
