Glad that Palmer did not get hurt in this game

I'm still anxious to see how the nerve acts this week frankly.

He clearly didn't have his deep ball. His throws on a couple sideline routes and WR screens had serious zip like normal but his deep ball was missing. I mean throws over 40 yards. Makes me wonder if the rotation of his arm is effected differently on those throws.

His reputation has always been better than his actual play at CB. That said, his and Cromartie's physical skills are what make Bowle's aggressiveness as a coach possible.

I'm semi-dissapointed (because I want picks) but not as down as some. Yes, he got a huge contract but what can you do, you have to keep a CB of his current caliber and future potential.

I keep saying it but I think he's hampered by playing half a field. Also, on the TD he gave up, as someone mentioned, Mathieu was his help over the top and got caught looking at the other receiver in his zone. Not an excuse, Jackson still makes that catch, it's just not a TD if Mathieu minds his assignment.

I have to check but I think PP only gave up 3 catches today and 1 was a WR screen where he couldn't shed the block and Jackson got free.

There's no such thing as a shutdown corner in today's game. Maybe, MAYBE, he's overpaid now, but let's talk in a few years toward the back-end and revisit that hypothesis.

(Edit: have to add, I saw PP stick his nose in there on several tackles, and I mean tackles with guys falling all around him. He's a baller and willing to do what it takes to win)

I have no complaints. Fans are super unrealistic.

That WR screen worked perfect the guard took Peterson out of the play. That was actually Mathuie's fault he was late coming over. He let up a TD on a quick little slant other than that he played really well.

You also have to understand he has no help what's so ever NONE

Good insight. You're going to give up plays playing man in this throwing league, but if you can close them out 70% of the time you're winning that battle. Without those two our entire scheme changes.

Okafor was the star of the game on defense, although Johnson would probably get that accolade from most.

Peterson has all the measurables, he just doesn't seem to have that instinct for the ball. Aeneas Williams on one leg would get more interceptions than PP21.

Just got back from the game. So happy with the win. Some of the clock management was puzzling in the 4th, but otherwise can't complain.
