So you’re asserting that Blaine Gabbert is a better quarterback than Carson Palmer?

With the 5 best O-linemen in the NFL in front of him, Carson Palmer would drink Blaine Gabberts milkshake (and the milkshakes of a WHOLE LOT of other QBs in this league).

We don't have the top 5 linemen. We don't even have ONE of the top 5 linemen and probably don't have ONE of the top 15 O-linemen (Valdheer doesn't count, if Gabbert couldn't run, Valdheer would have looked like his usual washed up self last week).

Given our sad sacks on the line, I would play Gabbert and teach the damn WRs what to do when he has to scramble, which will happen often, ala Seattle.

In my 54 years of watching football, those first two lines are the strangest metaphor I've ever seen. :D

Daniel day-Lewis in "There will be blood". (2008 - nominated for Best Picture, nominated best Director, Day-Lewis won Best actor, nominated Best screenplay, Art Direction, film editing and sound editing, it won best cinematography, but, hey, lot's of years I have not seen, and still have not seen, ANY of the nominated movies)

Pittsburgh, PA--Enemy territory!
I can't imagine a kid watching that movie now in this climate.

The point of the movie being that ALL the white people outside Gene Wilder's drunk were complete imbeciles and needed to be saved by minorities they treat like trash would probably go right over their heads.

Oddly enough--and I'm serious--Blazing Saddles reminds me of the Merchant of Venice.
