It's the same talk that's happening in the other thread, but the idea of his agent pushing it makes a ton of sense. The Cardinals are likely the next most desperate team looking for a QB at the top of the draft. If anyone else finds themselves interested in Barkley (especially if Geno Smith goes off the board to the Chiefs), they'd likely feel the need to move in front of the #7 spot one way or the other.
As I've said before - no problem with Barkley if he is indeed the right guy.
One of the funny things about this draft class is that people kept telling me that this was going to be the one to wait for - and now everyone is panning it as awful.

And the Cardinals gave up DRC and Jerel Worthy and $19 million for a QB just two seasons ago.
