Cardinals Charities, Chipotle Partner
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Wednesday, October 15, 2003

Tempe, Arizona — The Arizona Cardinals are partnering
with Chipotle Mexican Grill to raise money for
Cardinals Charities on Tuesday, October 21 at five
Valley Chipotle locations.

Two Cardinals players will appear at each Chipotle
Mexican Grill location from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. to make
burritos, bus tables, and serve customers while raising
money for Cardinals Charities.

All of the proceeds raised during the two hours of work
will go to benefit Cardinals Charities.

Safety Adrian Wilson and linebacker LeVar Woods will be
at the Chandler (N. 54th St) store, quarterback Preston
Parsons and tight end Steve Bush will be at the
Scottsdale (15035 E. Thompson Peak Pkwy) store, safety
Quentin Harris and running back Damien Anderson will be
at the north Phoenix (3039 W. Peoria Ave.) store,
kicker Bill Gramatica and long snapper Nathan Hodel
will be at the downtown Phoenix (4423 E. Thomas Road)
store, and wide receivers Kevin Kasper and Jason
McAddley will be at the Gilbert (1084 S. Gilbert Road)
store.

“Simply put, this partnership just makes sense,” says
Chris Arnold, director of hoopla, hype, and ballyhoo
for Chipotle Mexican Grill. “Cardinals Charities
supports so many local organizations in and around
Phoenix that do so much to improve our communities.
Working with them on this program gives us an
opportunity to reach a number of charitable groups we
might not have been able to support otherwise.”

Founded in 1990, Cardinals Charities supports programs
designed to improve the quality of life and enhance
opportunities for children, women and minorities in the
state of Arizona. Since its inception, Cardinals
Charities has distributed over $2,000,000 to over 200
Arizona charitable organizations.

Director of hoopla, hype, and ballyhoo? That is a great title. Can you imagine having that on your business card?

Wait a second... are they going to be making the burritos or signing autographs or what? I have a couple friends out of town who would get a kick out of a Gramatica autographed picture, but I don't think I want to go if they are going to be making my burrito. I want that left to the trained burrito makers that Chipotle employs.

Hahahaha! I think that "the trained burrito makers" will be standing by in case a burrito crisis goes down.

Just an FYI, I just heard that Kenny King is replacing Jason McAddley at the Gilbert location.

I just had a burrito prepared by Kenny King. I also ordered two sacks on Jeff Garcia this weekend and he gave me a "Can do." He's not still injured, right? Kevin Kasper told me he's playing this weekend. He's a pretty big guy - always saw him as being smaller.

Ahhh. Clever. Ordering two sacks! Hahahaha!

Kenny practiced Monday and according to Coach Mac, he looked rusty. If he makes it through the week of practice, I would think that he would be active and in the rotation.

He is a cool dude as well. After he got his tooth knocked out in one of the home preseason games, we picked him up at the dentist and drove him back to Flagstaff. He seems like a guy that loves the game just from talking with him.

He also set strength and conditioning records at Alabama which is never a bad thing!
